306Comments Sep 24, 2012 11:48AM WHERE ARE THE REAL STARS.??? WHEN I WAS YOUNGER THERE WERE REAL STARS IN HOLLYWOOD. THE STARS OF TODAY SEEM LIKE A LOT OF WANNA BE'S. THEY AREN'T THAT INTERESTING. WHERE ARE THE JIMMY STEWARTS, THE CARY GRANTS, THE JOHN WAYNES.
ALL WE GET ARE JIMMY KIMMEL AND TRACEY MORGAN. WE HAVE GONE DOWN HILL Sep 24, 2012 4:24PM Sep 29, 2012 9:38PM Well...I have to agree....all the "real stars" are sadly gone, or working in the director's chair. All we have left are whatever the hell a "snooky" is, something called a "honey Boo-boo"? or something like that, and all the super teens with white teeth, big smiles, perfect hair.....and no "real" talent. Hollywood....you have lost it.....shame on you! Sep 11, 2012 4:41PM I watched this show with some curiosity for awhile last night; simply because the wife was watching it. One cannot honestly say that there was anything normal about the characters portrayed in that show. Perhaps I am an anachronism, but I must conclude that if NBC wants to convince people that these weirdos are normal, there must be some quite odd people at NBC.. | Stars of 'The Bachelorette': Where are they now? |
A look at what happened after the final rose By Diane Vadino After a hometown date from hell, Sean Lowe decided to let early frontrunner and fan-favorite Desiree Hartsock go in a heartbreaking scene on last season's "The Bachelor." Des, as we came to know her, pleaded that he was making a big mistake as she hurried to the getaway limo, leaving audiences stunned. "The Bachelor" eventually ended with Sean proposing to Seattle graphic designer Catherine Giudici and a follow-up longer-than-expected stint on "Dancing With the Stars." As for Des? Well, the 27-year-old bridal stylist from Los Angeles is the latest star of "The Bachelorette," premiering Monday, May 27, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC. Des has since realized that she and Sean were never meant to be and now has 25 chances at finding her "best friend" and perhaps someone who will put a ring on it. While the "Bachelor" nation has spawned a shocking number of marriages and long-term relationships, these have generally happened off the show -- or on "Bachelor Pad" or "Bachelor" reunions -- rather than on the main franchise itself. Here, we take a look at what happened to some of the stars of "The Bachelorette" and whether that final rose (and ring) really resulted in a walk down the aisle.
