Al Pacino, 2011: 'You Don't Know
Jack'
The veteran actor collected his fourth Golden Globe (out of 15 career
nominations) for his portrayal of controversial physician-assisted suiced
advocate Jack Kevorkian in the HBO drama "You Don't Know Jack"; the performance
also won Pacino an Emmy and a Screen Actors Guild award. He followed up these
wins with a Razzie in 2011 for playing himself in Adam Sandler's "Jack and
Jill." 2012 saw the U.S. premiere of his directorial effort "Wilde Salomé," a
docudrama examining Oscar Wilde's play "Salomé." Pacino returns to the screen in
early 2013 in the action comedy "Stand Up Guys" with Christopher Walken and
Alan Arkin, and will lend his voice to next summer's "Despicable Me 2."
