During 2005, "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" co-stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt went from rumor to item to instant family with whiplash-inducing velocity, capped by Pitt's move to formally share custody (and names) for Jolie's adopted tykes Maddox, 4, and Zahara, 1. Should anyone be surprised that the A-list hunk and hottie would add their own genetically-blessed offspring? Rumors of Jolie's pregnancy arrived days into the new year when Britain's News of the World quoted "close pals" as spilling the baby beans. A week later, People quoted Jolie's own confirmation -- made to a relief worker in the Dominican Republic during a humanitarian visit -- that she and Pitt were expecting their first child this summer.
