This year saw a sweet Hollywood baby boom with extra star quality. Celebs are procreating (and adopting) at a brisk pace -- adding extra twinkle to the sparkle in showbiz. Here are some of our favorite new and expected arrivals. And remember, it's never too late to send that silver Tiffany rattle.

Marcia Cross and Tom Mahoney, twin daughters, Eden and Savannah: These sweet girls were born Feb. 20 to newlyweds Cross and financier Mahoney. The little ones actually made their first appearance on prime time before they were born, with the pregnant Cross filming some "Desperate Housewives" scenes in bed. Cross said before the girls were born that having babies in her mid-40s was "like a miracle." Awww. (AB/Retna Ltd.)
