Are they or aren't they? Rumblings are growing louder that Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson have rekindled their romance, which fizzled out about nine months ago.

"They are hooking up," an Owen confidante tells Us Weekly, with a Kate insider echoing, "They have definitely been talking, hanging out and yes, hooking up."

According to People, the look-alike former lovebirds seemed "very cozy" as they hit the Oscar party circuit last weekend, including engaging in some serious flirting at Madonna's A-lister-filled post-awards soiree.

"There was lots of arm touching, giggling," a bystander recalls to the magazine. "They were having lots of fun."

Chimes in a more succinct spy, "They were all over each other."

The actress' attorney, however, insists to Us that the amour assertions are "false."

The golden-haired pair parted ways in May 2007 after nearly a year of capricious coupledom, which reportedly began as they were crisscrossing the globe promoting "You, Me and Dupree."

Hudson, 28, soon segued into a PDA-crammed summer fling with Dax Shepard; Wilson, 39, made headlines after a reported suicide attempt in August.

"Owen is such a lovely person, and I love him dearly," Kate gushed in the January issue of Vogue. "And I wish him beautiful things -- health and everything that he desires in life."

Now, a pal tells Us, they "are in a good place with each other."

And that "good place" appears to include each other's homes.

The funnyman, who kept a very straight face while presenting at the Oscars, was seen leaving Kate's pad in his Prius on Feb. 23, and she was spotted at his Malibu, Calif., digs later the same day, according to People and Us.

Meanwhile, the Owen reunion whispers aren't the only tabloid speculation Hudson is currently facing.

Her midsection has been incessantly analyzed in recent weeks after paparazzi pics appeared to show her sporting a bit of a bulge under her lately roomy casualwear (of course, on the willowy actress, that could just mean she swallowed a carb).

Hudson's rep flatly denies that she's pregnant, and she was looking flat-abbed two weeks ago at the Elle Style Awards in London, and again on Feb. 21 at a charity event in Los Angeles. 

Then there are those random but persistent reports linking her to Justin Timberlake, despite vehement denials on both sides.

It all started a few days ago, when the New York Post tossed out a left-field, double-take-causing tale alleging the two have been "secretly seeing" each other over the last year (you'll recall that rumors of a flirtation first surfaced in January 2007, when they reportedly hung out at her New Year's Eve bash).

"Kate is very private and refuses to be seen with him in public," a snitch maintained to the paper. "But they talk every day on the phone and see each other often."

An Us source says it's all very laid-back, claiming, "It's not constant and very casual," while the New York Daily News is convinced she's been texting Jessica Biel's beau "nonstop."

Still, several Timberlake pals insist to Us that they're "strictly" friends, with an insider declaring, "He is very much in love with Jessica."

Either way, the center of Hudson's world remains her flowing-locked son Ryder, 4, and she continues to cultivate a strong relationship with his dad, Chris Robinson.

"The other day I told someone my husband was coming over and they said, 'You mean your ex-husband,'" she says in the February issue of Elle UK. "I do love my ex. Whatever man I end up with, I'll always love Chris."
