You're no one in Hollywood these days unless you're knocked up or knee-deep
in poopie diapers. With rug rat rumors flying faster than strained peaches
through a leaky Pampers, here's a handy breakdown of the latest baby bits:
Brangelina at the Independent Spirit
Awards in Los Angeles on Feb. 22 |
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have yet to comment on the
impending addition (or two, given the persistent twin rumblings) to their
tight-knit clan, but In Touch is already guessing declaring
what's incubating inside the Oscar-winning earth mother's swelling belly. In a
cover story we urge you to take with a Bugaboo-sized grain of salt, the mag
alleges that the prepossessing parents learned at a March 14 ultrasound that
their brood would soon resemble the "Brady
Bunch." "They'll be having a boy and a girl," alleges a "pal." "Because she
took fertility treatments to help her ovulate, her babies are fraternal. They're
ecstatic. She can't wait." The newest Jolie-Pitt production(s) will join
brothers Maddox, 6, and Pax, 4, and sisters Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, who
turns 2 in May.
Halle Berry at the Palm Springs Film Festival
Awards on Jan. 5 |
Don't expect to see Halle Berry's bouncing baby girl cooing from the cover of
your favorite magazine anytime soon. Unlike, say, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, whose twins received a 12-page
spread in the latest issue of People, "Halle doesn't have any plans for any
photos to be sold or released," her rep tells USA Today. Meanwhile, the New York
Daily News reports the Oscar winner and her model-boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry,
spent about $60,000 preparing for the March 16 arrival of little Nahla, choosing
"all whites and neutrals" for the nurseries in their three homes. Berry also
made sure everything, including sheets and stuffed animals, were made from
pesticide-free cotton. Says a spy, "She's obsessed with organic."
A little more than a month after Fergie's mom and her rep shot down reports that she was gestating the spawn of Josh Duhamel, the stork speculation has once again kicked
into high gear. On Tuesday night, the singer's lovely lady lumps looked a bit
lumpier than usual in a black minidress as she and her actor-beau exited a sushi
joint in Santa Monica, Calif. Not only was there a hint of protruding belly
button, but Fergie's glowing face also seemed a mite fuller. Still, snaps from
the singer's concert Wednesday night in Houston show her mid-section looking
pretty much as taut as ever. So, is it time to break out the Huggies? Not so
much, according to the couple's respective reps, who assure Us she's not
pregnant. The baby talk has been bubbling since earlier this year, when the
mayor of Las Vegas presented Duhamel with a pair of infant-size Crocs,
apparently in a bid to ensure bad fashion choices will continue into future
generations.

Tori Spelling isn't one to play things close to the chest,
and she's happily blabbing about the bun in her oven to anyone who will listen.
"We were shocked when the doctor said the ultrasound showed a girl!" she bubbles
to People. "I immediately started crying. I couldn't believe it. I have my
beautiful little boy and now I'll have my little girl! It's amazing ... I can't
wait to get her tons of pink stuff." Mrs. Dean McDermott, who is already mom to 1-year-old
Liam, is due in June. "We don't have her nursery done yet," she adds to In
Touch, "but we're thinking pink and chocolate brown." In addition to oodles of
rosy gear, Tori's ankle-biter will also have plenty of family baggage. "Because
my mother [Candy] and I have always had a complicated relationship, I always
wanted a girl to prove that the past doesn't have to repeat itself," Spelling
explains to People. "I can't wait to be a great mom and friend to her."
Now that Joel Madden is back on the road with Good Charlotte, he's going to miss his favorite daily
daddy-and-me moment with 2-month-old daughter Harlow. "She always wakes up every
morning laughing and smiling and it's the best part of my day," he gushes to Us
about the tot, who joined both her parents on Tuesday for a ride around Los
Angeles in her fancy Orbit stroller (mom Nicole Richie was on push patrol). The proud pop says his
little girl "is an angel, and we are really blessed to have such a healthy happy
baby. Watching her and Nicole together is really cool."
