Among Orlando Bloom's apparent turn-ons: the flammable, eye-watering musk of gasoline. The soul-patched star was snapped locking lips with Miranda Kerr while pumping gas Saturday in Los Angeles.

Bloom even showed off an advanced wooing maneuver during the refueling as he leaned into the passenger window to plant one on the Victoria's Secret model, whom he was first spotted hanging out with this time last year.

The pump-side smooching was the high point of several recent paparazzi-captured outings for the photogenic flames, including an arm-in-arm stroll in Venice, Calif., some furniture shopping and a trip to a motorcycle dealership.

Their sudden ubiquity comes just weeks after Kerr all but did a happy dance over the romance during an interview with Harper's Bazaar U.K. Seems she made a show of flashing her BlackBerry during the sit-down, which, conveniently enough, featured a shot of her laying some sugar on Bloom.

Speaking of telling behavior, the actor apparently failed to turn on the charm after bumping into Mary-Kate Olsen and Nicole Richie.

People reports the rehabbed pals were having dinner recently with a passel of friends at L.A.'s Chateau Marmont when Orlando made an appearance at their table.

He stopped long enough to give a blonde in their group a "long hug" but "didn't acknowledge" M-K or Nicole, says the mag.

On the plus side, the praise heaped on Nicole's post-Harlow body may be having a positive effect on her eating habits.

She was spotted "gleefully" chowing down on potato-crusted halibut, fries and carrots, which she ate with her fingers, "totally unaware of her friends' reactions."

(Of course, if they had any reaction other than encouragement, they probably aren't very good friends.)

Mary-Kate, on the other hand, preferred nicotine to noshing, with the still-rickety twin nixing nourishment in favor of her cancer sticks.

By the by, Richie appears to be embracing the reaction her fabulously un-bony figure is getting on the red carpet.

FoxNews.com says she couldn't get enough of the cameras at a Prada event in Los Angeles last Wednesday.

"It was hilarious -- I've never seen anything like it," says a snitch. "This girl knows how to pose and she made sure she went up and down the line pulling her signature smile for well over half an hour."

When the starlet's image was sufficiently captured on film, she entered the shindig, but reportedly made a quick exit, presumably to get home to Harlow.
