Has Lindsay Lohan fallen off and been flattened by the
proverbial wagon? People magazine spied the problem-plagued, thrice-rehabbed
starlet, 21, downing alcohol over the weekend while watching her
joined-at-the-hipster BFF, Samantha Ronson, deejay at a New York nightclub.
Ronson reportedly worked the tables from midnight to 4 a.m. on Sunday at the
Hawaiian Tropic Zone in Times Square, where tanorexic Lindsay likely fit right
in with the bathing suit-clad waitresses given her skin's current yamlike hue.
According to the mag, the rapidly aging, guidance-needing actress and her
unflattering blond extensions parked themselves at a table behind Samantha's DJ
booth in the VIP section, spending the first hour or so sucking on cancer sticks
and socializing with pals.
Eventually, the music moved her, and she hopped up and began to boogie down
to Britney Spears' "Gimme More."
Let's have the mag take it from here: "Drinking Grey Goose and Red Bull
cocktails, she danced the night away with girlfriends. Lohan really got into the
music, tossing her hair around and doing full body rolls -- even throwing her
hands in the air and singing along to Madonna's new song '4 Minutes.'"
While Grey Goose, Red Bull and full body rolls seem like a guaranteed
cookie-tossing combo, LiLo still had enough caffeine left in her to warble along
with and "pump her chest" to "Soulja Boy."
She capped off the night with some table-side text messaging before exiting
with Ronson in a black Cadillac Escalade around 4:15 a.m., when paparazzi
snapped her looking completely party pooped (see above).
This latest report of Lohan imbibing follows her caught-on-camera champagne
swig in Italy on New Year's Eve (according to her lawyer, "she immediately
stopped herself, called her sponsor and got back on track") and a February
sighting by People at New York's Beatrice Inn, where she was seen quaffing
vodka.
"She will always be a social drinker," a Lindsay enabler
source told the magazine at the time. "It's not a big concern."
Perhaps Lohan shouldn't be so quick to dismiss the charitable idea recently
pitched by her blabbermouth dad, Michael, who claimed she was planning to join
him on a mission to India to help the less fortunate.
"Lindsay was never going to do anything he said she was, like going to
India," an insider snipes to the New York Post. "He's gone crazy again."
In a radio interview Friday with Billy Bush (no, we didn't know the "Access
Hollywood" host had a radio show, and yeah, we're now scared to scan the dial,
too), the actress kvetched about her spotlight-loving pop.
"I just wish that he wouldn't go and talk to the media," she ranted. "It's
not attractive to me, it really upsets me and I wish he would stop ... I love my
father. I just don't know why he's doing what he's doing. It's a weird
situation, very odd."
Lohan, who very publicly reconciled with Michael last year during her rehab
stint at the Cirque Lodge in Utah, also talked about her less-than-eagerly
anticipated album, which she says will chronicle where she's going, not where
she's been.
"I've gone through so much and I think publicly people have seen that and I
don't find that fascinating anymore," she explained. "I think it's kind of over
with because that's not where I am in my life, so I want it to be a fun record,
I want it to be free-spirited and I want it to represent me in my life now,
which is happy."
