How would you react if the sublime if stubble-covered face of George Clooney was moving in for a romantic smooch? A
dramatic swoon? Maybe some furtive lip-moistening?
For the brunette beauty on the receiving end of the suave Oscar winner's
bewhiskered pucker at the Venice Film Festival, the preferred response involved
opening her eyes as wide as possible, perhaps so she wouldn't miss a moment of
the auspicious osculation occasion.
So, just who is the lucky lady enjoying a buss stop with the reigning Sexiest
Man Alive, who is making the rounds stumping for his upcoming drama "Michael Clayton"?
She's been identified as 28-year-old Sarah Larson, who's supposedly the same
brunette snapped getting handsy with the 46-year-old Clooney last month on a
yacht in Saint-Tropez.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports she's a Sin City denizen who has worked
at nightclubs Ghostbar and Moon for nearly three years.
Her previous claim to fame was winning an episode of "Fear Factor" in 2005 with her
then-boyfriend. (By the by, George also has a game show connection: He was
briefly linked to a briefcase-wielding "Deal or No Deal"
hottie.)
Things seem to be going along swimmingly with Clooney and Larson, because she
has no immediate plans to return to work.
"[Sarah] sent me a text message to say she can't make it back anytime soon,"
her boss tells the paper.
Despite being separated in age by an entire person who can vote, the
prepossessing pair has lately been "inseparable," according to "Entertainment Tonight," which
says that when not swapping spit at the "Michael Clayton" premiere bash over the
weekend, they laughed and held hands.
An apparently smitten Clooney even brought the looker along to the Deauville
Film Festival in France, where he was presented with an award for his "limitless
talent" and "irresistible charm."
In between the accolades, the perma-bachelor, accompanied by Larson,
reportedly met up for dinner with pal Matt Damon and his wife, Luciana. The following
evening, the fledgling flames enjoyed a romantic meal a deux.
The usually PDA-shy Clooney seems to have a soft spot for dark-haired
beauties. His last red-carpet arm candy was British TV host Lisa Snowden, whom
he parted ways with in 2005 after several years of sporadic coupledom.
