Even though the Britney Spears crazy train has thankfully pulled into the station for much-needed repairs, the rumor mill continues to chug along.

The current issues of Star and Life & Style both advance the truly terrifying notion that Brit could be carrying the likely landing strip-sporting spawn of married paparazzo Adnan Ghalib, who is still allowed access to her in the post-conservatorship world.

"Britney is Adnan's dream come true," a Ghalib pal blabs to the tab. "He knows that if he has a child with Brit, he'll be made for life."

Still, sources speculate to Life & Style that any suspicious swelling may be due to the low-profile-keeping Spears' well-known junk food cravings (yes, we're totally pulling for the Cheeto theory, too, especially since Britney's body -- which doesn't deserve to be under a microscope right now -- looks pretty much the same as ever).

Meanwhile, the New York Daily News says Britney, who hit the Millennium dance studio again Wednesday night, recently had staffers at the Betsey Johnson boutique in Los Angeles perplexed when she arrived with a Dolce & Gabbana frock in hand and asked the store to make her a duplicate in white, which she wanted to pick up a few hours later.

"The staff explained that they didn't have a dressmaker on call who could do it in time," a spy tells the paper, adding, "The only thing she wanted to buy in the store was the yellow wig on a mannequin in the window. The manager eventually agreed to offer it to her for $100."

In more positive hair news, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 17 months, are sporting a less mop-topped look in the wake of their recent reunion with their mom.

Snappers caught the tots with adorable new short cuts as Britney's mother Lynne and a nanny wheeled them around Thursday morning in their favorite little red wagon outside dad Kevin Federline's Tarzana, Calif., home.

According to X17.com, the boys were later ferried over to Britney's house for another closely monitored visit.

Speaking of Federline, he's gearing up to celebrate the big 3-0 next month, but don't expect him to spend the day quietly contemplating all that he's accomplished in life (e.g. fathering four tots, living down "PopoZao," making us compliment his parenting skills).

People reports he's set to ring in the milestone on March 21 at hot spot Pure in Las Vegas.
