Rolling Stones fans don't appreciate Timberlake. Plus, Britney becomes a Duke

by BeatBoxBetty

Okay, so who was the brainiac who thought Rolling Stones fans would enjoy hearing "Cry Me A River" or "Rock Your Body" from former 'N Sync-er Justin Timberlake?  Whoever it was, they're definitely not the sharpest tool in the shed.

At the recent Stones concert to revive tourism in Toronto after the SARS outbreak, the pop singer did not receive the warmest of welcomes from the crowd. In fact, he had to dodge both water bottles and insults that were being flung from the audience. While he tried to convince the rebellious rock fans it would all "be over before you know it," the angry villagers just booed and jeered him throughout his entire set.

Later he reappeared with back-up reinforcements (Mick Jagger and Keith Richards) who tried to guilt the audience into give him a chance. Richards even stared down the crowd and motioned to them to show some respect. Talk about a hostile take-over!

Britney SpearsBritney Becomes a Duke
Yee-haw! According to the folks over at SkyNews, Britney Spears is set to show off her assets on the big screen in Daisy Duke hot pants. That's right, from the wonderful land of remakes, Hollywood is planning on taking the 1970s TV hit "The Dukes of Hazzard" all the way to the box office.  And yep, Britney will squeeze into those trademark denim shorts when she plays Daisy Duke, which was originally played by Catherine Bach.

Word is Britney was hand picked for the role by Ashton Kutcher, who will play Luke Duke in the film. Supposedly the two became pals after she appeared on his MTV show "Punk'd." Paul Walker, of "2 Fast 2 Furious" fame, will play Bo Duke. No word yet on who will play the perplexed audience who didn't watch the show when it originally aired, but that nonetheless bought lunchboxes and stickers.

Marilyn MansonManson's Morbid Mason Jar
I've heard of stars having funky home furnishings, but this one takes the cake. According to British GQ magazine, Marilyn Manson's living room coffee table features a fetus in a jar. Sure to be a hit with Right to Life groups, the unborn baby was a gift from the singer's girlfriend, fetish star Dita Von Teese, who gave him the child as a gift. "I have a beautiful morbid gift from Dita," he told GQ. "It's an unborn child in a jar. I called it Ludwig Von Manson."

You may remember Von Teese from her appearance on "The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn." While she arrived wearing a sweet ballerina costume, the dark-haired beauty then proceeded to strip down to her underwear as she climbed into a giant cocktail glass, doused herself with water and slapped her buttocks. Sounds like Marilyn has finally found a generous gal who not only gave him a child but likes to stay clean to boot!
