It's been quite a season on "Dancing With the Stars." We've seen everything from Tom DeLay's hobbling retirement from the competition to Donny Osmond's smooch with Bruno to Derek Hough's dramatic "You Jane, me Tarzan" entrance. And now it's time for the last dance. Kelly, Donny and Mya, our three finalists, each brings something different to the stage. So who will take home the mirror ball trophy?

Kelly Osbourne has certainly been the most surprising celebrity of the season. The vaguely Goth first daughter of metal, best known for her, um, colorful language, shocked America the first week of the competition with a classic, floaty Viennese waltz. And that bravura performance was no fluke. Although Kelly has been plagued by nerves throughout the competition and has had her share of bad moments, she's worked hard to become a more than passable ballroom dancer. In nine weeks of competition she's scored a total of 310 points with the judges, which puts her at a clear disadvantage heading into the finale. However, we all know that audience votes can make all the difference.

Donny Osmond was practically born onstage, and that has proved to be a real asset to him throughout the competition. His charisma lends Old Hollywood glamour to every kick, turn, spin -- and misstep. Although he started out strong this season, Donny has faltered a bit during the last two weeks of competition. His disastrous Week 9 tango had me very worried for him, even after he "came back" with a triumphant samba and a fantastic jitterbug. A comeback is exactly what he'll need to take home that shiny disco ball. Donny enters the finals with 319 points, which puts him square in the middle between Kelly and Mya. Can he win? I don't see any reason why not. Donny has more than proved that he's up for any challenge that comes his way.
Mya has been a front-runner from the first week of competition. She may be little, but she's a powerhouse. Her elegance on the dance floor is paralleled only by her determination to get her moves right. She hasn't nailed every routine, but Mya has topped the judges' leader board a whopping five weeks of this season. She's scored a total of 349 points, which puts her 30 points ahead of Donny and 39 points ahead of Kelly. However, there's an X factor: the audience votes. Mya has scored so well all season that she hasn't ever needed to rely on the voters to save her. It's possible she'll conquer the judges' hearts only to be voted off her pedestal by everyone watching at home. Possible, but unlikely. If I were one to place bets, my money would certainly be on Mya to take home the shiny disco ball.
