Wilberforce is a better example to set before our children than half of the idols and heros of today. This man stood up for his faith and his convictions for 25 years before he saw the fruit of his labor and yet he didn't give up. Where are the Wilberforce's of today? Was this review helpful? The story transported me into another time and place and the music helped like a sound track. I wish Stephen Spieldberg had done a dramatization of this instead of the lame movie he did make. Why can't Hollywood make more movies like this. No sex, no violence, no expletives, no special effects and yet entertaining and thought provoking.
