Had several funny parts...one hysterical part in the airplane lavatory. Overall, pretty amusing. Steve Carrell and Anne Hathaway were both perfectly cast, especially Carell. Hathaway was really good, but my old view of 99 seemed to get in the way; one of the drawbacks of loving the original show.
Again, it was good overall, just not as funny as I was expecting, but worth seeing at the cinema. My wife actually enjoyed it more than I did....and what was REALLY weird was how much she laughed at the Step Brothers preview....normally she thinks that type of humor pretty stoooopid. Sign In 1 out of 2 users found this helpful Not too badPosted: 8/12/2006A review of Zoom by Progrocker1959 Our 7 yr old daughter loved it, our 17 year old daughter was just mildly amused (mostly bored) the mid forties Mom and Dad found it pretty good fun (mostly cause we just like Tim Allen and Chevy Chase), so all in all, it was a nice family outing.
