It was on UPN. While I had to explain it to my son he understood the campyness of it. Over the top in every way, but good old fashioned escapism, kinda like the serial shorts of Flash Gordon in the 30's. My son got to laughing so hard at the cheesy scenes, I had to stop him and explain that this was just like the original shorts. He wanted to know if modern Fx was used. I said "Yes" to make it look sooooo cheesy. My father, God rest his soul, saw it and re-marked it was just like he remembered it when he was a kid, except for the music! <br>If you haven't seen this and you like things a little off beat, then sit down with the kiddos get your popcorn and have some fun.<br> Was this review helpful?
