I got tears in my eyes from trying to hold in my laughter in at certain parts....I felt guilty about some of the things I was giggling at...but hey, it's a movie, not real life.....the whole theater was laughing out loud during most of the film....
Robert Downey Jr. was superb....and the rest of the cast was good, too...with the exception of Tom Cruise...I was expecting to belly laugh at his performance but I thought he almost ruined the film....he was not funny in the least, even with a bald head and hairy chest, his performance was one-note nonsense....other than that, go see it and enjoy the laughter.... The film itself was good....killer action scenes and great direction, but it did drag on just a bit too much....the ending left me a little disappointed, and there was way too much of Harvey Dent in it for me, but it did live up to all the hype for sure. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful I must say I was a bit disappointed by "Wanted"...I was expecting to be blown away by this film, but that never happened...Angelina Jolie is a talented actress, but any girl off the street could have given the same performance she put forth....
James McAvoy was great, and a cutie to look at....the supporting cast...can't remember any of them...
I don't mind violence whatsoever in films, but this was a little gratuitous...it seemed liked they were trying way too hard, and it had a "Matrix" feel to it...(another film I have NO interest in ever seeing)....I also don't like seeing people getting the hell beat out of them, (i.e. bloody punches to the face over and over)..
The movie just left me flat, and the last line of it was a bit silly, too...."The Incredible Hulk" was much better than this one, in my opinion.... Was this review helpful? Of course, I was proven wrong....the film is terrific....the whole production was fantastic from start to finish....you feel like you should applaud after each musical number.....it's just a joy to watch and it will put a smile on your face....you'll be humming the songs afterwards....
NOW SPRITZ YOUR HAIR AND RUN TO THE THEATER NOW!! Was this review helpful? Why did this get a good review from the critics?
I don't know if they were trying too hard or what....Pacino brought a little life to it, but not much....
Wish I could have my $8.75 back.....a lackluster end to the series. Was this review helpful?
