It was romantic, funny, tragic, and a real tear-jerker! I love my husband dearly, and I found it very easy to put myself in Holly's shoes and feel her journey as if it were my own! Not only that, but the movie piqued my interest in the Irish culture and the country of Ireland! Maybe it seems too sappy or hokie for some, but I loved it, and will recommend it to my girlfriends!
