Posted: 9/11/2009A review of In Plain Sight by aminahyaquin
This is an excellent show. Characters are unusual, tender and tough, the drama is real and raw. The viewer or stakeholder makes a wise investment of time and emotion in following this show from week to week. I wish so many times it was a year round adventure; i like inviting these folks into my home and watching them struggle change and grow. There is nothing i don't like about this show. Albuquerque is like a pastel dream or nightmare, depending upon the storyline. The mountains, people, plots and are not a pastiche of the Miami pale pastel and lurid violence crime dramas , but rather have the depth and character of O'Keefe's vibrant art with the quirky red rock mesa flavor meanderings of Indian country and the still Wild West.I recommend this show to anybody who enjoys beautiful work.
