For those shallow individuals who aren't capable of that, they'll either be offended or bored.
Great directing, great acting. Story line is the only weak point, could be stronger, but it's a screen-play from a book. There's only so much tweaking one can do. The movie, thankfully, lacks all of the artificial theatrics of blockbusters. You can actually focus on the art, rather than annoying music and special effects that blockbuster films tend to have. People are so simple-minded that they allow the backdrop effects of a movie define whether it was "good" or "bad". It's a shame more people can't look beyond "fluff" to see the art of film making.
This movie is worth seeing and wil be a definite DVD home library addition.
Ben nailed this one and I hope to see more films directed by him in the future. Was this review helpful? Sign In 1-1 of 1 Per Page |
