All reviews by user Date  Helpful Rating 0 out of 0 users found this helpful  No respect for other civilzationsPosted: 6/8/2003A review of Bruce Almighty by Anonymous I would love to see the whole movie as I only watched the trailer and the coming soon, because I don't live in the USA,and the film is not due to come to our video stores yet and I think it will never come and commenting on the concept of the western look at God when compared to other civilzation or relegions in the world this is considered absene or I should say crazy and gone too far , we in the Islamic civilization consider it a big NO NO to do such films it's prohibited to think of God as similar to man or woman or any other thing , come on guys when are you going to live the 2000 globalization? when are you going to realize the way the eastern civilzations look at yours? I mean when I've seen the Ten Commandments I thought America especially Holywood is going to hell because of playing the role of Moses MPBUH and still Holywood is insisting on the Idea of appreciating thoughts rejecting the existing of God Almighty and that he is nothing like humans at all as a matter of fact He is unthinkable of shape ,color or form He is above all that , It gives me the creeps as a moslim to listen to a hit song in the west called ( What if God Was One Of Us ) Guys isn't it about time to get ready for the Judgment day , don't you think it's about time to reject all of these Devil Worshipers working in Holywood I mean people who don't believe in God ? I wonder how long the church will ignore such acts? it's not freedom of speech to argue with God ! it is not the fifth amendment to shout at God or to represent Him as a white or black man or a woman ! wake up Holywood it is almost the end of time , in other words it's time for either Heaven or Hell . I mean when I see Maddona acting in( Evita) for example or (Who's that girl )you'd think Marylin is alive again ! why? is it because this is the model of the hot woman every man is looking for? to the extent that two grown men .. stars like Jack lemon and Tony Curtis act like women in this movie just to prove it .. that this is the hot woman that a man can hope to dress like her to try to match her shining star ! I think that this story is more like the true story of how she got envoloved in show business even if this is not true .. the thing that made feel sorry for her in real life that the shooting star this movie made her to be caused her to get to know very important people like JFK and occasionally was the reason for her death .. I think it was a conspiracy .. I don't believe that she killed her self .. I think she was killed .. I have this very strong feeling against the politicians and the white house to cause me to think she was murdered just by the same killer who killed JFK .. it could be Jacklyn Kennedy it could be anybody except Jack Lemon and Tony Curtis .. I wonder who did it other than the CIA or some Ego Maniac who wouldn't like her to shine no more . Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful the movie's impact on Jodie Foster fansPosted: 6/7/2003A review of The Silence of the Lambs by Anonymous Although Jodie Foster is playing the good guy in this movie, her intimate dialogue with Hanibal made me feel disgusted and avoid watching movies of Foster for a long time, I had this feeling of fear towards her in other words she started to scare me after watching the movie only because of her analysis of Hanibal as a human flesh eater, I was frightened all movie long that she would get eaten by Hanibal, nothing convinced me to watch movies of Foster as an actor afterwards until I've seen an interview with her where she seemed as normal as any other girl, I am trying to say when she's acting frightened she's super my heart was beating hard all movie long because of the look on her face when interacting with Hanibal, I love to say again this is no more the case after watching her in other roles and after watching her interview on CNN TV Larry King Live some years ago, the thing that convinced me that she is not evil and as for Hanibal the same issue applies after watching him in Zoro playing the good old Zoro.
