I also found it to be very unoriginal...the ending reminding me of my favourite movie of all time, Fight Club. Very similar circumstances with characters. I thought Johnny Depp to play a good part though. I'd recommend it to viewers who don't seek originality but overall a good movie to rent. Was this review helpful? Knowing how great his last three movies were I knew this one would have to be as well. Like usual he keeps you guessing and even though every movie has a twist, there's always something else to shock you in the movie. He's always one step ahead of you. I also looked forward to his cameos in his movies which adds extra excitement in how he will fit into the movie. As in his last three movies not only did he have a cameo but in Signs he also proved himself to be a great actor. The Village I found was slow for the first hour and was a bit disappointed.
