All reviews by user Date  Helpful Rating 2 out of 3 users found this helpful  The best movie Ive ever seen!Posted: 2/25/2008A review of Atonement by blessidunionchick I've read several reviews of this movie and had convinced myself that I would be thoroughly dissappointed by it, however it turned out to be the best movie I've ever seen. Everything about the movie is perfect. The plot line is twisted, the characters are beautifully flawed, and the story is heart wrenching. Maybe it's not the type of movie that you would want to see over and over because it evokes the most horrid human emotions, but it is definitely the most powerful piece of art I have ever come in contact with. I, too, expected it to be a great love story, but was pleasantly surprised by the ending. The story is REAL, even if it is fiction. The acting is phenominal by everyone. I can't go on enough about how perfect this movie is. There is nothing that I would have changed or that I wish would be different.
