The first time I saw this movie I happened to be walking by the TV when it began. Something caught my eye, so I sat down for a minute and didn't get up until it was over - and even then, only reluctantly. The story is amazing and the portrayal of it in the movie is subtle and sensitive. The characters are so real. At the end of the movie I just felt happy to be part of a human race that produced these people.Recently I caught it again on TV with my 17-year-old daughter. I enjoyed every minute all over again. She loved it too. I was pleased that the sensitive human values, with which the film copes, were as poignant to her as they were to me.A sheer joy!
