This movie wasn't worth the 7 bucks I paid! I'm a huge Tim Burton fan, always have been and probably always will be. This movie however just seemed dull and boring. I agree with some ealier posts the color was amazing! The story however seemed beneath Burton. Was this review helpful? I do believe this is one of the greatest family movies of my time. It's full of humor for kids, and that humor for adults that the kids don't get. This movie is just an overall fun movie to go to. The story was good (not great) but good. The acting was great and so were the special affects. I've been waiting for another Indiana Jones type series of movies I believe I have found one. Sign In 1 out of 5 users found this helpful Don't waste your moneyPosted: 4/30/2005A review of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by THE_REAL_TANK_GIRL I had high hopes for this movie, because my friend is a huge Douglas Adams fan and all she could do was rave about it. So I trusted her and went. This movie was so boring. The plot was horrible, and most parts didn't make any sense. It has a few one liners which most are delivered by Marvin the paranoid manic depressive android. Other than the oneliners though I didn't see any reason to waste money on seeing this movie. So naturally I was excited to hear that Gwen was coming out with her own album, and bought it the first day. Well to be honest It's good but definatly not great....songs like "What you waiting for" "Harajuku Girls" and "Cool"....Are to me classic Gwen, but this album has its downsides like "Bubble Pop Electric". The story was great! The only thing that really dissapointed me was the Timber Wolves....Now really we have the technology to have tornados in L.A. and floods that cover new York, but we can't make a couple wolves look realistic. Why couldn't they use trained wolves or something like that? I was dissapointed but thats the only part that bummed me out. The rest of the movie was excellent! Was this review helpful?
