This one tops it all - the energy of D'eux coupled with the nostalgia of S'il Suffisait D'aimer.

Way to go, Céline. Was this review helpful? Far from the sterility of "One Heart" Dion's voice soars live brightly. Top that, Mariah. Was this review helpful? I hope others like it, too. It's a really good cd. I think the changes in Celine's style, for the most part, are subtle unlike other singers who drastically switch from their normal styles which might be love songs and whatnot to working with heavy young R&B producers in order to sound younger, different, and/or cooler (Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, *NSYNC, and now BSB are about to get in on it). So the uptempo productions do work well for Celine because they aren't so drastically different or like her being something she's not. I like these uptempo songs much better than the slow ones, but surely you could fall in love with many of the slow ones on the cd. I guess I've just been so fascinated by the uptempo songs that I have put the slower ones on the back burner.

This is a great cd. I urge all types of pop and adult contemporary fans to get this one! If you don't like it at first, give it a couple more chances. That's what it takes with Celine's stuff...it grows on you, and when it does, it doesn't let go. Her music isn't the kind that you like right away and hear so much that you get tired of it (except maybe "My Heart Will Go On" and "Because You Loved Me").
