Thise movie is differnt from the comic book.... it isnt dumb.....I am personaly not a mrvile fan but this was good...Im' a DC comic fan..PS for any one who dosn't like spider man the movie write a positive review.... all marvil fans will be on your butt for not likeing it i should know i wrote a bad review and every one was going to each of my review an disagreeing with them.Only a devoted fan would find all my reviews and degrading them.... The effects top even some of todays movies. It keeps a viewers attention. However even though i loved the movie i couldn't help noticing that from the beggining and the end seemed to ride compleatly different thoughts. I'll explain, the begging started out on this scary horror path but almost 20 minuts in the movie it took a detor on a goofy dark comidy. I know now its a comidy but it just seemed weared. I also realy didn't care for the doo woop music in the movie but well ...go figure. But however i loved the werewoulfs howl. It wasn't a normal wolf it had a unnatural tone to it but i loved it! Cilderen 12 and under will probably love this movie. They will be capdivated by the thrilling action special graphics and silly humor.And they will probably get scared at some parts but to a kids perspective,thise movie is grate. For kids who can't see James Bond this movie is highly recominded.BUT FOR ADULTS........ they will probably sit there and think ";kill me please i can't bare to watch one more second"; thise humor is childish and what action this movie has an adult would probably be sleeping because of it. You can definantly tell what is CGI (computer generated imiges), wich takes a hell of alot away from the suspence of the movie (just like spider-man).And the kids who play carmen and junnie cant act. But to a kid it won't matter. After all what adult is going to see Spy Kids over a james bond movie.WHAT I THOUGHT...... I thought prety much how an adult would feel BUT i loved the opening sequince with the theam park. No didn't like the juggler I just liked looking at the amusment park! I liked the amusment park because I go there like 5 times a month. The park is called SIX FLAGS OVER TEXAS. The roller coasters that were seen at the park were ";THE TITANE(tall orange/teel coaster,THE BATMAN(yellow track/puple suports...my favorit ride) and THE MR.FREEZE(blue coaster). The part were they shot the juggler is in gotham city were the batman and mr.freeze are. And remeber the part were that man held up the ubrella and some one puked up green puke and splated on the ubrella thats were THE SUPERMAN POWER OF TOWER now stands. This movie was missplaced uder box office smash ... when it shold have been under box office poison. When what should have been marvil comics finest hour realy turned out to be a compleat mocery of all comic book heros alike. Its basicly high payed actors to dress up in rediculise tights and over disgined costums running around trying to catch each other. I could have made a beter movie than this with my home video camera! Like most comic book adaptions the story plot is as thick as water. However unlike BATMAN and Daredevil it some how made the fact of it not having a plot was the last thing on your mind. True batman didn't have a plot or much cgi but to the viewer it was good. and the costumes were good and not over detailed( when i say this i mean Batman and Batman Returns not the last to wich in my opinnion were just as bad as spiderman). So story plots dont realy matter in a comic movie but in my opinion it could have used a thick plot. THe plot is basicly a cat and mouse game. They also over did the cgi you could tell what was CGI and what wasn't. There wasnt barly any action scence in thise movie. only about 2 or three. But by now ive probably lost your intreast but here is a Joke to give you a good and humorus leave.......I was reading an article in the news paper about celebertys favorit tv show. Suprisingly Jack Nicolsons favorite show was THE PET PHYCIC. Not suprisingly Jenifer Lopezes favorit show was devorce cort. Bye Bye Was this review helpful? If you think bush is going to war for no good reason well think again. If liberation does take over Iraq just think all thouse abused and torcher souls of the Iraq people well be freed from the trecherous clasp of the evil of sadam. And in Iraq (unlike the dixie chiks) True americans are fighting for other so they can have the freedom like we do. And true americans are dieing and here the DIXIE BITCHES are just dis mising there country. Sure we have the freedom to speek our mind...but what they did i consider high treason. HIGH TREASON YOU SAY yes they have turned there back on ower leader who is only trying to do good. Well every one will be singing ";burn baby burn"; when they see the dixi chicks. Now if you like the dixi chicks and you dont agree what would you rather be? When we went to the movies to see this movie the only thing i thought was that it was too depresing. Almost evry little kid cryed trew out the movie. It made my brother ask if mom and dad were going to be taken away. Should a kid movie make a kid think that. There were NO comical parts that you haven't all ready seen in the trailers. It is very good and is one of the best werewolves i have ever seen. If it is so good why did i only give it 4 stares well they say the f word way too much and the guts are sausages. They even say that in the comintary. With a solid story plot and awsome acting and dazzilling fight sceans only a geniuse like Tim Burton and WB could bring to life. Not to menchion the moving score that is a must buy on sound track. Like spider man the batman movie is about the first battle between the joker but is less boring than spiderman.Pearsonal note.... if you want to hear my other oppinions check out spiderman Dog solders Clue and the Flinstones. Just because Good Stuff is the title dosnt mean that the other songs are left behind in the darkness. Is that you Mo-dean?,Revalution Earth , and many more also are very good songs. For new comers to the world of THe B-52's this CD & Cosmic things are the best 2 CD's to buy first.Even though it had a moderate ratings You will probably be more comfortable with these two first ,then get the others. BUT................. the story how ever is quite boring. After seeing it i was a little confused and had to ask someone if they realy knew what it was about. But it is good to see for the cgi animation. I would say thise only needs one veiwing but i would watch it again to realy understand the story and to see the excellent CGI stuff. 1 star for plot 3 stars for the CGI.If you liked this movie another movie i suggest is Batman (1989) & Dog Solduers which i wrote reviews for each. Directed by Harold Ramis and co-staring Chris Elliot and Addie MacDowll this movie is a gem. It's pretty much the same clasic story of repeating the same day but more funny. Thise movie is a keeper. If you liked thise movie I suggest Gohst Busters, What about Bob?, The Flinstones and Mr. Magoo. All funny and all reviewed by me.
