Judging from the audience reaction, others seem to have felt the same way. The juxtaposition of Woody Allens New York schlamiel and Hugh Jackmans aristocratic charmer provided a delightful counterpoint. It was fun to see several familiar faces from Masterpiece Theatre (Charles Dance from The Jewel in the Crown, Meg Wynn-Owen from Upstairs, Downstairs, et al) in bit parts. Unlike Match Point, which I also loved, this one is strictly for laughs. Was this review helpful? Sign In 1-1 of 1 Per Page |
