All reviews by user Date  Helpful Rating 6 out of 8 users found this helpful  Well, for what it is, its good.Posted: 12/17/2005A review of The Family Stone by faq_u2_biotch I went to this because i thought it would be funny, which some parts are..the characters such as sara jessica parker and luke wilson did a particularily great job at making me laugh. I did not expect this to end up being a chick flick of this nature but even so it is a well-made and humorous one. If you are in to chick flicks i would definatly recommend this movie just dont go into the movie thinking its going to be all out funny movie because its not..and the places that arent are really touching. Some of you may cry and others may not, whatever the result may be with you, you will get your moneys worth if you go in expecting a comedy drama. As for me, ill probably watch it again when it comes to dvd and im sure after i watch it again itll be better, as i know what to expect. Was this review helpful? Sign In 2 out of 2 users found this helpful People arent open-mindedPosted: 11/17/2005A review of The Weather Man by faq_u2_biotch Well, I went to see this movie and i liked it quite a bit, so i get on here and see all the negative reviews about how it wasnt funny at all. First of all, a lot of people arent open-minded enough to enjoy a movie such as this one. They were under the impression that if they went to this movie it would be non-stop laughter all the way through, when all they had to do is get on msn and see that it was labeled under a comedy drama..problem is, they take this for granted and then go watch it expecting it to be halarious. In addition, they get on here and try to change the minds of the people who really wanted to see it.
