Posted: 12/11/2008A review of The Dark Knight by channz2751
If there ever was A film for anyone to remind us of 2008 has to be The Dark Knight. This film really stepped up from the predecessor batman begins. I felt the franchise needs to take a darker look at the character of batman as a whole. The film was worth all the hype and my NZ$15 admission for two and a half hr kick a** movie

Honestly this is the very 1st WWE films movie I have ever seen of the three that has been released to date (See No Evil & The Condemned). Those who didn't like the movie just because they're either not a chain-gang soldier or a hater of the WWE Champion? Not bad for the WWE Champion's acting debut, and not a bad movie overall. If you like WWE and action movies this is a good combo.

Posted: 1/26/2007A review of Epic Movie by WWERULZ011
Honestly I had just come back from a screening of Epic Movie at a cinema in Auckland and honestly I would have to rank this film as garbage where it rightfully belongs at the local video in your 4 weekly hires section. This film uses SO many cliched humour which sounded like it has been recycled and just not funny at all except for the joke on that Albino monk from The Da vinci code. I dont know whats up with this and not very original creative idea. The Scary Movie films were a good laugh and Date Movie was reasonable, Id say if they were to do one more of these Scary Movie like parody films The humour needs to be original. Id rather have an 80 or so minute siesta than watch this film again.

Posted: 12/14/2006A review of Casino Royale by WWERULZ011
Ive watched the movie at the New Zealand Charity premiere on Nov. 30. Honestly I gelt that this movie really is so far much better than Pierce Brosnans final film Die Another Day, because I felt that it went to far over the top and some parts of the film was just plain all out outlandish with the Invisible Aston Martin. This film is on the lines of the book with the same name with some differences (of course) and we get to see James Bond as a human not some faux persona who walks away scratch free. I quite like the Bond films that makes Bond reliant on his wits and NOT heavily on gadgets to solve the case. Hopefully number 22 stays along the same lines where he uses his wits and not heavily relying on gadgets. Recommend the book for a good Holiday read or for the absolute bookworm and worth getting the DVD when it comes out. Since this is Daniel Craigs 1st film as the suave and lethal agent, probably give him till his 3rd film to see if he really deserves to be 007.

Posted: 11/6/2006A review of Jackass: Number Two by WWERULZ011
Honestly Im a fan of Jackass whether it be the tv series or the 1st film, these guys are just nutters. After watching both films by far number two just makes the stunts in 1 look like childs play. If youre gonna watch this movie be prepared to have fits of laughter, a strong stomach to endure the stuff shown on the big screen and be prepared to flinch. Honestly I strongly DO NOT recommend anyone to watch this film whie eating their lunch or dinner. Five out of five man

Posted: 4/15/2006A review of Walk the Line by WWERULZ011
Prior to watching this movie, I had this notion that country music stars were either too bland or all out boring. I knew very little about Johnny cash until I watched walk the line as a result from good word of mouth from other cinema patrons. All biopics tend to fall in a trap of not staying true or honouring the person(s) concerned on screen. Walk the line was on the contrary, It deserved the academy award nominations and it stayed from the opening minute of the film till the closing credits its a very good film Even though I see this movie as a Cinema film its worth a collectable DVD movie

Posted: 1/23/2006A review of Good Night, and Good Luck. by WWERULZ011
Honestly this is the best film from George Clooney as an all round star in Hollywood. The films ingenious plot is trying to tell us that the stark contrast of censorship and all out Politically correct BS and manipulation through the medium of television is so relevant to the ideals of today. How ironic that no matter how much you try to surpress those want to speak out against every outrage and PC motivated garbage through spin doctors The Bush Cheney administration is totally doing the same thing that Senator McCarthy did back in the 1950s by scaremongering every day people who just to want to know the real truth. What Im about to type may outrage some readers PLEASE dont be afraid to speak up if you agree with me I DO NOT sympathise or condone the dickheads that were responsible for the 9.11.2001 terrorist attacks on America, but I do see it as sumwhat of an Irony why America once paid the worlds most wanted man millions of dollars in favours to fight the Russians in Afghanistan during the 1980s and Funding former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein the money and weapons during the Iran Iraq war throughout the 1980s Back to the point, The films moral story is saying that everyone is not what they are and two faced Hypocrites when Money is factored into every decision. Michael Moore is the Modern day Edward R Murrow who wishes to spread the truth amongst the web of PC spin doctor created BS Good Night and Good Luck is awesome

Posted: 1/14/2006A review of The World's Fastest Indian by WWERULZ011
As a New Zealander writing a review for this movie The Worlds fastest Indian, Im proud to see that a New Zealand Icon Burt Munro and the story of how he set that world record in the US where it still stands to this very day. I wouldnt know how the real Burt Munro would react to his story being brought to the big screen but for a New Zealander to see this on screen is awesome. The films message is saying to NEVER underestimate the underdog and shows the world the No.8 fencing wire anything can happen idea only comes from good ol New Zealand Sir Anthony Hopkins did the whole New Zealand accent perfectly especially with the rolling Rs only found in the bottom of New Zealand I would consider this movie as 1 of the best films of 2005 and well worth my ten dollars

Posted: 1/14/2006A review of The Constant Gardener by WWERULZ011
Honestly even though I know very little about the director and any film he has made prior to City of God, but he has put together a very gritty and thought provoking drama based on John le Carres novel (of the same name) The moral of the film is that money and greed will and can corrupt even the honourable men. For those who might find this type of movie very sedatingly boring because you need a serious amount of concentration on the plot from the opening minute to the very end. Its also saying that when a film maker uses or overrelies on the use of special effects computer generated or not(with the exception of Star Wars, Lord of The Rings) can really lose the appeal of the audience you trying to reach. Worth my 10 to see this film, go see it while you can one last comment before I end my review, WASSAP with the R rating for this movie? It got a M rating in Australia and New Zealand

Honestly I only caught wind of the movie after playing the video game made by Rockstar games (GTA makers) Then I started watching the movie which made it a more enjoyable experience. Even though the violence looks tame by todays standards this film is a must have in anybodys DVD collection I have watched the movie at least 5x and it gets better after everytime Ive watched it.

Even though Man of the house did not get a general NZ cinema release, my 1st impression of the movie was that it is gonna stink very bad,but it turned out slightly the opposite. Still I'd rather rent this movie then buy to keep I give it a 3 stars out of 5 just because of Tommy Lee Jones, who can do the comedic role in a light hearted manor with a tough homey exterior.
