i took my three-year old to see it. we both enjoyed it very much. she stayed focussed the entire time, and i laughed out loud a few times myself (the squirrels and the rabbit jokes were very funny). if you have a child that is easily scared, you may reconsider (the hunter-gun motif may be too much for some young, sensitive kids). i would compare it, as far as humor style, to a slightly-less-gross-version of shrek (which we both love).

WILL SOMEONE PLEASE BOTHER TO REVIEW THE MOVIE! I went through the first five pages and have read less than a paragraph of actual reviews. I finally gave up. There are plently of blogs, websites, and chatrooms for you to vent your various religious frustrations. Go there, enjoy, and let the rest of us find out whether or not the moview itself was any good. Trust me, we already know what the controversey is....

we took our two-year old to see this movie and we were surprised by how well done it was. the animation was beautiful, the music was great, and the story was fun for kids and adults. it was nice to take her to a movie that she could enjoy without the adult themes that are often written into kids movies. i think we both found it just as entertaining as my daughter did. overall, i think this movie did the stories justice.
