Like another reviewer said, its nice to see a rapper who can flow about something other than Money and Women in a derogatory fashion. I love how Mr. Fiasco used skateboarding as a metaphor for a young mans life and the obstacles he had to overcome. Even listening to the instrumentals is great. If Lupe stays true to his style and keeps spittin out rhymes like hot fire, he could become the best of the best one day. Was this review helpful? Anybody can say their name over and over again in EVERY SONG. When Mike does make an attempt at flowin, he sounds like he got his lyrics off of some PBS show. Chamillionaire gets old fast. Not only that but his lyrics sound like they came off of sesame street. My 2 year old cousin can flow better than him. The Massacre is stuck with watered down lyrics, unoriginal ryhmes, and the majority of the songs are all about how he was shot. It was ok in GRODT, but he needs to let that go. His whole career is based on that inccident in his life. Now that hes one of the most popular rappers out there, 50s lost his inspiration, which sadly happens to a lot of great talents such as himself. He can do much better if he goes back to his old ways. Kanye West Delivered all the way. Kanyes music, in a way, is unique and at the same time isnt. He doesnt sound like traditional artists of today. Kanye sounds more like one of your friends down the street freesyling, but dont let that give you the wrong impression. Because of his style of rap, his lyrics come out quick,clever, and clean as if he was making them up as he went. This makes each song sound fresh. Gold digger, Drive Slow, Heard Em Say, and Touch the Sky are HOT! If you dont like this album than you dont know rap at all. BUY THIS NOW!!! Was this review helpful? Hes very original with his lyrics in every song. Some rappers are all cliche and talk about the same thing, but The Game actually has something to say. Each song has a message. They hit you hard, fast, and they never skip a beat. The Game has a lot of potential. This album is only the start of his career. If you want to hear true rap, get this album.
