Few albums are made where every song is good. This is one of them (others are Jay-Z The Black Album, Usher Confessions possibly, etc.) TP-2 is one of the finest R. Kelly albums. Every song on this album is the best of Nas in my opinion. The album is cohesive, great to listen to, and flows very well. I love Nas as a storyteller and a lyricist - two things that are important yet lacking from most MCs today. Was this review helpful? Kaney's rhymes are impressive, the production is unbelievable, and everything has a meaning, a purpose. With the CD, Kanye made and set his own pedestal for rap. College Dropout shows intelligence, talent, and creativtiy that is unique and amazing. Was this review helpful? With Dropout, it seemed Kanye explored a range of his abilities while with Late Registration he appears to make a formula of what worked best from College Dropout and therefore this CD seems flat, repetitive, and formulated. Still, there are some amazing hits on this album (basically everything you've probably heard on the radio by now - Gold digger, Diamonds, Heard Em Say). Was this review helpful? Some songs are just songs but others are mind-blowing. Of course, we all know which songs will get played on the radio and in clubs but behind the scenes and deep down, it would seem as if Master P has another level to his music that needs to be heard more often. Murphy can stand on his own and his rhymes and metaphors are just incredible. He shows more talent and intellect and humor than a lot of his peers. Much love. Was this review helpful? Not only do you get to see the perspective and mentality of Tupac Shakur himself, it's a film that shall open everyone's eyes to make this world a better place. It challenges society and enforces the fact that our lives are governed by the choices we make and the talent and abilities that we are given. It takes people to make this world a better place, people who desire change and are willing to take action to make such a change a reality. Was this review helpful? Sign In 1-7 of 7 Per Page |
