While I will say it was "well-acted" it was slow with little payoff. It was a derivative, predictable story throughout. I would say an evening at home on DVD to help your insomnia would be perfect for this show.

Enjoyed the mindless get away. Horror without being overly gross and fun action. We love Mila....the end was way over stimulating though. Hopefully there will be a next one. Resident Evil - Revenge I would imagine.

Come on you Dukes fans from the bygone era you need to let go. Take a deep breath and repeat after me...It's only a movie. And a darn funny one at that. Yes it is juvenile, yes it has gratitious scenes of less than fully dressed young ladies, yes it has some really bad jokes told by good ole Willie AND it has good car chase scenes, funny lines and shots delivered by Knoxville and Williams, over the top situations and just plain old fun. Finally it has a killer sound track (save Jessica and the worst song of the movie, the Boots remake).

Yes, what a hoot! This is a fun movie that is parody, homage and action-comedy all rolled up into a neat package. I had fun from the outset with some of the "inside" jokes for those of us from the land before time (before the alphabet soup of technology we live in today). Sure the characters were staples we had seen before and the plot was thin (by design fellow citizens) but it was perfectly executed to provide a good time. Kids should like it and adults can laugh and look for all the fun references - a good show.

I have read all five of the books in the Hitchhiker Trilogy and was hoping this movie would measure up. I was pleasantly surprised that it did. It did take a bit getting used to Mos Def as Ford but even he grew on me. Also while not quite as cheesy as the TV adaptation of the 70's it kept the spirit of those times. The person I saw the show with has not read Adams and as such was a bit lost at times. I guess I will just have to be selfishly content with my enjoyment of the picture and a faithful version of the first Hitchhiker book. Thank you!

I saw this movie over the Fourth of July weekend and am impressed with the quality of the production. Michael Moore is an excellent storyteller and propagandist. The obvious manipulations in the film play to the emotions on the left and the right. This is not a bad thing in and of itself. If the film evokes emotions of the viewer and stimulates political discourse then all the better for America. Some of the shady connections, innuendos in the movie are questionable (as is the hackneyed Moore device of getting Congressmen to sign up their kids for the military) but are still excellent devices for the story. If they prompt the viewer to go and find more facts and make up their own mind - fantastic! If those on the right dismiss the film and vilify the film based on what they hear and feel about Moore (and not even see the movie) shame on them and if the left takes all the information in the film as gospel and do nothing to find out more facts then shame on them. We can hope (though with all the spinning, especially from the unabashed FOX commentators and those bastions fair play, talk radio commentators [Hannity and Franken for example] it will be difficult) that this movie does for political discourse what The Passion of the Christ did for some religious discourse. If anyone is still reading these reviews I do have one burning question - am I unusual for enjoying both this movie and the Passion? That question most likely negates my review with those on the extremes of either the left or the right, eh? Thank you.

Full of good intentions, occasionally funny lines and excellent actors it becomes a very disappointing event. The plot has enough holes in it to be named Holes, if the name was not already taken. We don't like any of the characters in this trivial and offensive attempt. My advice, save you $$$ and go rent Blade Runner.

First and foremost thank you various reviewers for the detailed description of the Matrix worlds but just to let you know I totally understand...I think that is just one of the reasons the final two episodes were so disappointing. The smart thinking person's science fiction in the tradition of Phillip K. Dick that was introduced in the original was superior, challenging and just plain fun ("coppertop" - just too funny). Reloaded took us down some strange path that did nothing to really further the story...just strange Matrixspeak with all types of weird "programs" thrown in so we could have some of those MatrixFX battles. Just plain silly. Then in this final installment we get a pretty decent war movie intertwined with the Neo going to the machine city and more of the ridiculous Matrixspeak. The Smith program becoming so powerful is neither interesting or reasonably possible, even in the most accepting of the Matrix world. I give three stars for the very impressive FX work but the story that died in Reloaded was buried in Revolutions. What a disappointment.

Well once again the critics need to be told to just shut up, kick back and enjoy the ride. It is one of those movies where you laugh till you side hurts at some of the rauchy antics. If you like the first two movies in this series you will love this one. It is the pick of the litter.

Just had to write to wonder just what movie all these critics saw, are there two versions of this movie. I really enjoyed the ride (with deference to the Disney juggernaut) that this show provided. It was smart without being pretentious, funny without buffoonery, exciting and had the proper amount of fx amazement that advanced the story. I liked the story, I enjoyed the characters and thought it imaginative and just a good movie trip. It is the best of a sad lot of summer movies. Thank goodness!
