Its hard to believe that someone would actually pay money to see diane lain's 40 year old body naked, and that is all this movie was about. Like in the movie ";The Good Girl"; a woman becomes bored with her life and begins to cheat on her husband, but people dont need to worry because in the end, the cheating woman, like always gets away with everything. Do not see this movie. Was this review helpful? The plot of this film has a complete 180 degree turn in the middle of the film. Clooney's performance takes over from the begining of the film and it continues to be dominant until the end credits show up. This film is not only an instant classic but it gives a new dimension to vampire movies. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful Halloween is as close to perfection as you can get. Not only is the movie well written and also well directed it has the best one two combination in horror film history. Myers and Dr. Loomis(Donald Pleasance)are a great combination, its actually one of the few times that you vote for both the good guy and the bad guy. I reccomend this movie to everyone. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful I cant think of many things that are wrong with this movie. Mel Gibson gives a great performance, and Gary Sinise stuns everybody by playing a great bad guy. This movie almost classifies as a classic, but movies like this are just to easy to direct. But, the action, plot, setting, script, dialogue, and acting are near perfection. Was this review helpful? Ryan Phillipe and Benicio Del Toro are a great team, and Taye Diggs performance is not only suprising but it is near perfection. This movie has great dialouge and it also has some great action. I strongly reccomend this movie, but keep an open mind because this film does get slow at times. Was this review helpful? Ray Allen is not a great actor, but Denzel proves that he can carry any cast on his shoulders. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful Posted: 12/28/2002A review of Undisputed by Anonymous Undisputed was slow and predictable. Actors like Wesley Snipes were just in this movie so they could get a paycheck. This film has some of the worst acting and action that i have ever seen. I would much rather starve myself four a month, than ever see this movie again. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful Posted: 12/28/2002A review of American Psycho by Anonymous The screenplay, directing, and acting of this film are absolutely perfect. Christian Bale gives out a performance that proves that he is one of the most talented actors around. The ending is uncertain and the movie does get a little slow at times, but little one liners for Bale keep the film going. I would reccomend this movie to those who have a dark sense of humor. Make sure you watch this film with an open mind, and make sure that you pay very close attention to Christian Bale's performance. Was this review helpful? There are so many shining stars in this movie, Al Pacino delivers an unbelievable performance, and Alec Baldwin gives his greatest performance and he does this within ten minutes. If you have no time left out on your schedule than you have to make time for it, this movie will blow your mind, i absolutely guarentee it. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful Posted: 12/29/2002A review of Man on the Moon by Anonymous Jim Carrey delivers a good performance but the script was absolutely horrible. Andy Kaufman's name was ruined by this movie. The person that decided that courtney love should have a big role, should be sent to prison. If you enjoy Jim Carrey movies because he is funny than dont see this movie, but if you have two hours to waste than i guess that this movie is worth renting. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful Posted: 12/28/2002A review of Halloween II by Anonymous Normally horror film sequels are absolutely horrible. But Halloween 2 keeps the exact same cast and it also takes place from where the first film ends. Donald Pleasance returns from the first film, and gives off an even better performance than he gave in the first film. This sequel has more gore, and more action than the first. I only reccomend this movie to people who have seen the first halloween, but i guarentee that after you see both of these films you will not be unhappy. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful Posted: 12/28/2002A review of Enter the Dragon by Anonymous This movie took place before all of the computer technology came around. Bruce Lee keeps this movie alive with pure talent, and his ability to act is not as bad as most people think. The plot was simple, and the cast was also simple. I do reccomend that if you enjoy martial arts movies than you should see this movie before you go see a movie with Jet Li, or Jackie Chan. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful Posted: 12/28/2002A review of High Crimes by Anonymous This movie was not only horrible but it made no sense. Of couse Morgan Freeman gives a good performance but Ashley Judd and other cast members like Amanda Peet destroy his performance. Also this movie just goes on and on and on, but when it ends James Caviezel shows that he can play a great bad guy. Sadly the ending is predictable and its so easy to tell who the guilty party is. Hopefully Morgan Freeman will never stoop this low again for a pay check. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful Posted: 10/25/2002A review of Halloween: H20 by Anonymous halloween H20 was nothing but a complete disaster of a movie. If it wasnt for Ressurection, H20 would have accomplished nothing. Even though Myers was more bad ass in this film than the previous two or three, his characters excellence was overshadowed by the acting of these pretty boy actors(like Josh Hartnet). The gore was at its highest, but the acting went to an all time low. If you intend to see Haloween:Ressurection then i reccomend this movie, but if you do intend to see Ressurection i would not waste any time on this film. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful Posted: 10/25/2002A review of Reservoir Dogs by Anonymous Its hard to say that any film could be perfect in every way, but Reservoir Dogs proves that, that statement is false. Not only does Tarantino shine as a director but actors like Tim Roth, Harvey Kietel, and Michael Madsen give out some of there best performances. If you are planning on watching this movie with a female date, than i highly reccomend that you make sure that she has a good sense of humor, and a good stomach for movies. Humor, story, action, etc. are absolutely perfect. if you are going out to rent a movie than i highly reccomend that you rent the new 2 disk dvd of Reservoir Dogs, you will not be dissapointed.
