An hour could've been cut out to make this movie much more enjoyable. Although I did really enjoy the hero with the ink blot mask. The rest of them though looked pretty cheesy. It was not supposed to be a comedy but everyone in the theater was laughing. The screaming guys, the sniffers, wtf? Jennifer and Owen did a great job portraying the love they had for the dog. The ending is very sad, but it just shows the love and emotions that you feel when a pet dies. My big tough boyfriend even had tears flowing.
To those people who claim it is too much for children, i strongly disagree. Yes Marley humps a lady but its in a funny way. And there are a few jokes about Marley going to the vets and getting neutered, but it is nothing worse than what you would see on tv.lighten up people!!! I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THEVERYONE SEES THIS MOVIE! Was this review helpful? Brad Pitts best performance to date. It was a beautiful story and the makeup and scenery should win an oscar. However, I did feel it was too long and slow moving. It just went on and on and then all of a sudden the alien goes home bc the chick hugs her stepson. Just plain dumb. Kathy bates as sec of state-bad casting.
