My kids were not impressed and needless to say, the adults that attended were HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED! There were (perhaps) four moments in the movie that got a chuckle, but honestly, do not waste your time or money.
$58.00 later and I left feeling SO frustrated to have wasted money and time on seeing this movie.
Do yourself a favor, go rent a movie and order in! Was this review helpful? This movie was average but amusing. All of my kids liked it and some of us have seen it twice.
Not a movie that provokes you to any conclusions or life-changing thoughts. Storyline was simple...maybe a bit flat...but overall worth seeing in the theaters. Definitely worth renting. However, this was a HUGE disappointment. I have never written a negative review before...usually I try to find the good in all movies. But, this movie put my 9 yr old to sleep, LITTERALLY. There was 1 moment that was slightly cute. I was so disappointed. Still am, obviouslly, since I decided to write this review.
I do not have an issue with the idea of movies not having a hidden message or politically correct plot, but this movie was clueless. It could have been so creative, and it was a complete dissaster.
Honestly, if you decide to not watch it when it comes out on video, you are not going to miss anything, and you will save some money in the process. Was this review helpful? The kids and I all want to see it again and will buy the DVD! Humorous, wonderful, witty, charming, just to say a few things about the movie. I dont like going to the movies anymore because of the expense. This movie is well worth every dollar! Was this review helpful? It's funny, it's unpredictable, it's romantic (but not overly romantic), it's hopeful and leaves you feeling like there's always a reason why things happen the way they do when they do. I'm buying this movie when it comes out. Don't wait until you have to rent it. Get the full affect of this movie and go see it! There are many movies out there that you can wait to see on DVD, this isn't one of them! Get a salted pretzel, a coke and finish it before the movie starts because once it does, you'll forget to eat your snacks! Was this review helpful? Sign In 1-5 of 5 Per Page |
