A bit slow at times and although moments made you uncomfortable, it is not unlike being there and being uncomfortable. A family with tough issues cannot always be rosy. Was this review helpful? Sign In 3 out of 3 users found this helpful  Into The WildPosted: 11/13/2007A review of Into the Wild by Blossom1052 Thought this was a masterpiece. The story was told as it played out. What no one has commented on is the fact that the parents were intense and controlling (a child cannot grow up in that environment without being deeply affected by it). People that don't grow up in that environment(MONEY) have no empathy for someone like Chris and just write him off as some spoiled rich-kid. Let me tell you something, I'm speaking from experience. After years in therapy I've figured it out. My parents, on the other hand will never get it. Unfortunately, Chris figured things out when it was too late for him. Was this review helpful?
