Posted: 6/30/2005A review of Bat Out Of Hell II: Back Into Hell by Anonymous
"Out Of The Frying Pan (And Into The Fire)" is the best song on this entire album. I also like "I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Wont Do That)", "Rock And Roll Dreams Come Through," and "Everything Louder Than Everything Else." This album is Bat Out Of Hell II because Meat Loaf got back together with Jim Steinman for this album. There is an instrumental track called "Back Into Hell" but there is nothing like the first Bat Out Of Hell album. It is completely it's own intaty except mabey for the album art. "Wasted Youth" is a story with some sound effects. It goes into "Everything Louder Than Everything Else" like the song "You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth..." except that "Wasted Youth" is it's own sepperate track. Everyone complains that Meat Loaf takes too long to say what he Wont Do For Love. First of all, it was Jim Steinman who wrote it, and second If you are one of those people who get upset about that stuff, find the lyrics because all through out the song he says what he wont do for love. The song is a great song how it picks up when it picks up. Probibly the only song that I don't really like would be "Life Is A Lemon And I Want My Money Back." It seems to be a very ruff and harsh song about some one who is suicidal, (or at least just give up with living life.) But as I said, I love "Out Of The Frying Pan (And Into The Fire)." It is the absolute best song on the entire album. From the way it just comes slamming in gear in the beginnig and continues through out the song until it fades out at the end. If you haven't heard this stuff yet, find a copy some where.

Meat Loaf rocks. Bat Out Of Hell is an awsome and classic album. There is nothing quite like the title song. "You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth (Hot Summer Night)" is great also. And so is "Paradise By The Dashboard Light." For those of you who like cross references, the album also has Todd Rundgren, Roy Bittan, Max Weinerg, and Edgar Winter. Most albums of it now has a live recording of "Great Boleros Of Fire" and "Bat Out Of Hell." I love how Meat Loaf can mix broadway style with Rock and Roll and keep it going.

This is a great musical about a Jewish milk man who tries to marry off his 5 daughters while sticking to tradition (or finding loop-wholes that don't fight with tradition.) It is also one of the few movies to be 3hrs. or more that I can actually sit through and still enjoy.

2002 must've been a good year for the band Boston. Because Boston's Corporate America ROCKS!!!! It starts off Rockin' with "I Had A Good Time." (I could listen to that ten times in a row without growing tired.) "Corporate America" is a great song. So are the songs "Someone" "Cryin'" "Didn't Mean To Fall In Love" and "You Gave Up On Love." A woman joined the band named Kimberley Dahme who wrote "With You." I am sure you will enjoy this album.

Posted: 1/4/2005A review of Couldn't Have Said It Better by Anonymous
Couldn't Have Said It Better is one of Meat Loaf's Best Album. The only thing that would have been better is if the hidden song, "Mercury Blues," did't have 2min & 5sec of blankness between the "Forever Young" ending and the "Mercury Blues" beginning. But "Couldn't Have Said It Better," "Did I Say That," "Love You Out Loud," "Testify," and "Tear Me Down" are all great. Hey, if you don't have it, go try it.

Okay, this is probibly the best Dire Straits album ever made. One song right after the other is great. "Les Boy's was a little odd, but that's okay. With all the others, I still give the album 5 stars. "Tunnel Of Love," "Romeo & Juliet," "Skateaway," "Expresso Love," were all good songs. I'd continue, but I would mention all the rest of the songs on the album. Ohh, and Roy Bittan from the "E Street Band" joined in on this album to play the keyboards. If you haven't listened to it yet, at least prepare to now: Becuase this album rocks.

Posted: 11/16/2004A review of The Essential Bruce Springsteen by Anonymous
This is a great album. The only thing that would have been better would have been if it were sold as "Bruce Springsteen Greatest Hits Vol. 2". But about 1-third of the songs on the first two CD's of the album were on the Greatest Hits album. But mixed with the other 2-third songs on those CD's work great. But the third CD is really great (except maybe for the acoustic version of "Countin' On A Miracle", the original on "The Rising" was better.) But "From Small Things (Big Things One Day Come)", "Held Up Without A Gun", "Trapped", "None But The Brave", "Viva Las Vegas", and "County Fair" are great. Go ahead and give this album a try. I'm sure you'll enjoy it whether you heard the original albums' recordings or not.

If you like the sounds of his Born In The USA album or songs like "Badlands" from Darkness On The Edge Of Town or "Cadillac Ranch" from The River, you most likely won't like this album. If you prefer some of his more folk-sounding songs, than this album is one that you'll love. I feel the best songs are "Atlantic City" "Johnny 99" & "Highway Patrolman". I'll go ahead and recomend the album, especailly if you really like the folk sound or you like any Bruce Springsteen song ever writen. Otherwise, I leave it up to your own opinion.

This album probibally isn't the best album but it sure is a fun(ny) one to listen to. "You're a Ninja?..." & "The blackness of my belt..." Are lines from the movie spoken by Chris (Rock & Farley). All quotes are at least spoken by Chris Farley. "Kung-Fu Fighting" is a fun song on this album no matter who sings it, and so is "Tsugihagi Boogie Woogie" and "Tarzan Boy". The only song that I can't stand is Little John's "Finally Got It". But the album is still a fun and funny album. So go a head and have some fun and listen to it.

Posted: 5/13/2004A review of Footloose [Expanded Edition] by Anonymous
Okay, hands down, Footloose is the best 80's soundtrack. Okay, even if this is the 1998 Special Edition release of it, it is still the best 80's soundtrack. "Holding Out For A Hero", "The Girl Gets Around", "I'm Free (Heaven Helps The Man)", "Never" are just some of the great songs on this album. "Almost Paradise" is the best 80's Movie Love Ballad. You have got to hear this special 15 year anniversery version with "Bang Your Head" "Hurts So Good" & "Waiting For A Girl Like You." If you felt that the original sound track left something to be disired compared to the movie, this is what you need. I highly recomend this album.

Now why do fans of Bruce Springsteen call him "The Boss"? This album Born In The USA is a very good clue. If you don't have it, but are thinking of it, I promise you, it Rocks. Even besides "Born In The USA", "Glory Days", "Dancing In The Dark", and "My Hometown", which later showed up on the Greatest Hits album, There is not a song on here that dosesn't Rock some how. "No Surrender" and "I'm Going Down" are absolutely great songs. "Working On The Highway" is a fast paced rockin' song. That and "Darlington County" have fun stories put to great rock music. I highly recomend this album. Trust me, this album rocks!

Boston's Greatest Hits was my first Boston album. They are the best band to not name a lead singer in the bands name. Boston has a great rendition, most likely the best version, of "Star Spangled Banner". They also have an all out great song with two versions of "Higer Power". It is also a great retro-spective of all of their hits: "More Than A Feeling," "Peace Of Mind," "Don't Look Back," "Rock & Roll Band," "Feeling Satisfied," "Amanda," And then some. I most deffinately recomend this album to any one who has ever been or think they could be a Boston fan. I strongly belive they will enjoy it.

This is one great album from Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band. Joining them in this album are The Weather Girls and former Eagle, Don Henley. The album also includes Bob Seger singing live a rendition of CCR's Fortunate Son. Toping out the best songs on this album are "American Storm", "Like A Rock", "Miami", and "Sometimes." Ofcorse, I don't hate any song on this album at all. I would recomend this album to others.

Posted: 1/9/2004A review of Greatest Hits, Vol. 2 [14 Tracks] by Anonymous
Bob Seger finally came out with a second greatest hits album nearly a full decade after "It's A Mystery" in 1995. Which from that album he included "Manhattan." (Great Choice in my mind) He also included three movie songs that were never released on a Bob Seger Album...until now. The album has "Understanding" from the movie Teachers; "Shakedown" from Beverly Hills Cop II; and "Chances Are" (a duet with Martina McBride) from Hope Floats. Seger also included two new songs never released before at all: "Satisfied" and "Tomorrow." He also has an enhanced CD recording of the music video "Turn The Page." Beyond that, it includes songs from Beautiful Looser, Night Moves, Against The Wind, Nine Tonight, The Distance, and The Fire Inside. This is a great album and I most definately would recomend it to anyone.

Posted: 8/12/2003A review of It's a Mystery by Anonymous
Bob Seger's It's A Mystery is actually a very good album, considering the fact that it never sold well. I felt very lucky when I bought it, and I enjoied listening to it the first time and I still do. Some of my favorite songs are "Rite of Passage," "Lock and Load," and "Manhattan." The album also incudes guest pianist Roy Bittan who has worked with such artist as Meat Loaf, Dire Straits and Bruce Springsteen and his E Street Band. He appears on the songs "By The River," "Manhattan," and "I Wonder." The album may not be the best album but it surely is not the worst. I would recomend this album to others.
