However, this movie was different and I was pleasantly suprised!!! From beginning to end I was hooked to the movie and really could relate to the main character played by Shia LaBeouf and his friends. Everything in the movie flowed perfectly and I never felt like I was missing anything. The movie will make you laugh, jump, and grip your seat all over the place. When the movie ended I was so happy that a director finally didnt mess up an ending of carry it on too long, it was great! Like I said before I was presently suprised and it will definitely be a must buy for me once on DVD, after I go see it again in theatres!! Was this review helpful? Sign In 104 out of 139 users found this helpful QUESTIONABLE ENDING BUT STILL A MOST SEEPosted: 7/9/2006A review of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest by tenderfoot_05 Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Mans Chest is a great movie and it is probably better than the first. I say probably because there are some points in the movie that seem a little repetitive from the first, like the jokes and so on. Also at some points they try and make Captain Jack Sparrow to confusing and witty, which turns out to be not as smooth as the first. However, the action and comedy in this movie is far better than last years. Many times during the movie you will be on the edge of your seat. Ive seen a few people jump in the movie. What I like about the movie is how they brought the entire cast back and more, they work really well together and all the characters seemed to grow into their own. Its not just Captain Sparrow who you love to watch its Elizabeth Swan and others on the crew. The only questionable part that I still dont know if I like is the ending. Ive seen it twice already and I still dont know about it, but overall I think it is better than the first and if you love the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy then its a most see!
