I thought it would be funny but I didn't think it would be hilarious. IT WAS! I had so much fun during this movie. I went to a drive-in with my boyfriend and it was playing CHUCK AND LARRY and Live free or die hard..... I loved loved loved Chuck and Larry. I know a lot of Conservative christians are bashing this movie. I being a christian was not disgusted by this movie. I actually think if the Was this review helpful? I hadnt seen any previews for it but I saw the poster for it. Anything with Anthony Hopkins in it Im there. The beginning was great. I have to say that Anthony Hopkins outdid himself here. The middle was sort of slow but yet it still kept my interest. Now the ending is what made my mind going haywire. Never ever would I have came up with how this ending was going to work. It was well thought out and very original and unique. I recommend that you go see this. Im sad that this isnt do well right now. I hope it starts picking up. Go see it!!!!!! Ryan Gosling was great, Anthony Hopkins was superb...... Great choices for the actors Was this review helpful? Im usually not looking forward to see movies with him because he picks weird ones. Plus he didnt tell me til after I bought the tickets that it was over 3 hours long. I almost left.
As soon as it started I was enthralled with it. Rose McGowan did an excellent job playing Cherry. Freddy Rodriquez was great at playing Ray. The casting was perfect. I loved the first part of the movie. PLANET TERROR was my favorite. The fake trailers were actually pretty good. I was like They need to make some of these into a real movie. Thanksgiving I would definitely go see.
DEATH PROOF was a little slow at first but it picked up and I found my heart beating faster and faster towards the end of it. Kurt Russell was awesome in this part of the movie. I am definitely going to go see it again. I was disappointed to see that it only made 11 million opening weekend. Im sure itll pick up though. Im telling everyone about it.
As a girl I definitely loved this movie. I cant wait for it to come out on Dvd and see the deleted scenes. Im sure there are plenty of them. Im taking my bf tonight to go see it... GO SEE IT NOW. WHAT ARE YOU DOING STILL READING THIS!! GO!! NOW!! Was this review helpful? I on the hand didnt think that it was too long. To me time flew by. My mom, aunt and brother enjoyed this also. We gave it 5 starts. Jake Gyllanhaal put on a superb performance. I thought at first he looked a little young but towards the end of the movie I was convinced. The beginning was the best...... I thought the acting was well done and we should give them credit for doing so. Go see it. I guarantee you you wont be disappointed! Was this review helpful? A 15 year old boy is kidnapped by the drug dealers of which his brother owes money to. Frankie (Justin Timberlake) is supposed to watch this kid and Frankie ends up liking this kid. Smokes some weed with him and has beers with him. Frankie and Zach were getting tight in the movie. Friends, homies, whatever you wanna call it. The parents of Zach are frantically looking for their son. To me, this movie towards the end was a tearjerker (Im a girl so of course it was to me) When they are tying up Zach, you can see Frankies tears cuz he doesnt want to do this to Zach. Justin Timberlake I swear to God, I forgot he was even a singer. Forgot he was in the boyband NSYNC and the singer of BRINGIN SEXY BACK. His role wasnt of playing a touch guy..........He was playing an emotional guy who became friends with a kid he didnt even think he was going to like. I cried soooooo hard and to know that this was based upon a true story............ Thats what makes it worse. This kid thought these people were his friends and look what they did to him. True story.......... Worth seeing. 5 stars all the way. Was this review helpful? I have been in love with the Rocky movies for as long as I can remember. I saw this opening night and I took my bf to it as a surprise. The theatre was packed and the crowd was jittery. We were all excited. This movie exceeded my expectations of it. At some moments I wanted to cry but at others I was crying tears from laughter. The critics can all shove it for all I care. This movie was wonderful. I want to see it again. Go see it for you will not be disappointed. Was this review helpful? I take my little brother to his horror movies, I take my sister to her romance movies and I just go to tag along. From beginning to the end it was incredible. Masterfully done. I saw the old old movie from back in the day and I was wondering if it was at all like that. cheesy? the animation was wonderful and so was the acting. My fiance even loved it. It was one of the movies that I wanted to get back in line and see it again. Too bad it was the last show of the night. I was appalled by the review someone left on here that christians read too much into a movie that mentions anything about God Yes, C.S. LEWIS was a christian. We Christians do not get up on our high horse if there is a movie about God. This movie has no profanity, no cursing, nothing bad in this movie. Maybe thats why people didnt give it that great of reviews from what I read on here. Its pro-God and this world today isnt Pro-God and thats quite sad. Anways, great movie. Go see it and youll be just as amazed as I was and still am. Kid friendly too! 5 stars! Merry CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!! Was this review helpful? Sign In 1-9 of 9 Per Page |
