All reviews by user Date  Helpful Rating 0 out of 0 users found this helpful  Clone of the Second Terminator moviePosted: 8/20/2005A review of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines by Anonymous Though Terminator 3 was decent, there is one flaw which I'm sure many could point out is Kristanna Loken's character TX, is a copy of the famous T - 1000 Cop from Terminator 2. The action scenes between The Terminator and her were exact as Terminator 2. That is why I didn't find her or the plot very interesting. I hoped the TX would be different and have more powerful moves. Another puzzling factor came into mind was when Judgment Day was going to happen still, even though in the second film Sarah Conner prevented it from happening by destroying Cyberdyne Systems, so how could Cyberdyne really continue it's plans? I wished that they brought back Linda Hamilton as Sarah Conner, after all she was the big reason the machines would come from the future, she was the reason for the terminator to even came in the first place. Just having John Conner being the big shot in this was not that interesting to me. Once I found out she was not in it I was dissappointed. Above all the movie was ok. Only because Arnold Schwarzenegger is still his famous character. I don't recommend this to people who loved the second cause they will think differently of it after viewing this one. The action sequences did get me going, but most of them were too short. The acting is this movie was great. It's your common people looking through their events during the film. This film does bring your emotions up. I would only recommend this movie to people who would like disaster/action films. But not to those who don't like disaster films. For the tornadoes in Los Angelus, I'd have to say the movie Twister was better then this film. This film didn't seem to be really believable, but then again, maybe that's a good thing. It has a well written plot, and good line of characters. Denzel Washigton did a wonderful job. Mabye this movie gave him more success for his career. It's about kiddnappings that took place in Mexico and how one bodyguard goes to great lengths to save a family's daughter, who I have to say did a great job as well in this movie. I remember when I first saw it when I was only 10 I believe. It was such a emotional film for me to watch. Black Beauty is told from the horses point of view. A great story plot about a horse who moves from a one horse owner to the next and how one who Black Beauty knew as a boy wants him to be his master. Black Beauty's new owners subject him for rent and later, as a taxi puller in working-class London. A great film to even buy on DVD. Was this review helpful? When I first saw this movie, I thought it was great. Michelle Rodriguez gives her character a twist. She was the reason I saw this film. You reallly see a lot of character development as well. The story plot to this film was rather interesting to follow. The actors give it their all in this movie. The fast paced action gets you into a rush. Definitely recommended to people who love racing. Fantastic acting is brought into this great surfing film. A story about a girl Ann Marie(Kate Bosworth), who over the past year has been training for the prestigious Pipe Masters surfing competition. Michelle Rodriguez, who does a most outstanding job, is just great in this movie. She stars as Eden who tries to help Ann Marie (Bosworth) train for the competition. Sanoe Lake who stars as Lena, brings humor to the film. She is also a pro surfer for real. I must say this movie is one of my favorites. I will bring the entire surfing action all on DVD big time. It's great to see Guy Pierce who stars as Alexander Hartdegen, a scientist, professor, and inventor in 1895 New York City, create a Time Machine to go back and change the past and see her girlfriend Emma (Sienna Guillory) once again. However he wants a question answered, so he travels forward in time to a time, humanity has divided up into two races, the peaceful Eloi and the subterranean Morlocks. This movie captures your emotions as well. Sienna Guillory does such a great job as Emma. You just fall in love with her and when she dies, you feel so sad. I did. I wanted to do the same as Alexander did, create a time machine to go back and save her. The action sequences were fantastic. Visual effects were outstanding as well. Acting in this film was great as well. Also some great character development. An excellent setting for the movie. It makes you think you're acually in 1895. I have this on DVD. Great to watch again and again. Heck you can travel through time to see it again in the theater. Was this review helpful? It makes no scense having fictional characters like Alice in it. Honestly I don't need to see Alice pull matrix moves. It's been done before in the Matrix. Michelle Rodriguez did a great job. She nailed her character down. The ending just not imaginable. The movie itself didn't capture my interest. Was this review helpful? Director and producer Wolfgang Petersen creates a reality movie of what it would be like not only to be on Air Force One, but what if it was highjacked by terrorists. It's interesting how in this film, terrorists actually are able to bypass security and actually take over the plane. The story plot that was given for this film made perfect scene. Interesting to see how Peterson showed how things would happen if they were to occur. The film was great. I would love to keep watching this film. It's exciting, sad, gets your hatred towards the villians going, and a great film to see. Perfect for a DVD own. Was this review helpful? Jason Isaac, his characterin the movie, you know you wanted to hate him for the brutal tactics he did. He did such a great job being that character Tavington. Mel Gibson did great at expressing his anger and feelings towards other characters. You feel like your really in the movie. You have feelings as well when you watch the film. Truely a masterpiece. Charlie Sheen does it again as he enters the world of the super-natural. Having picked up signals of what he believed to be Aliens was pretty interesting to find out about. Then finding out that the Aliens might acually be hidden on Earth made me wonder to myself, "What could they look like?" It's pretty cool to see Sheen use all kinds of scientific equipment to find out if the signals were aliens or not. I would say the story plot was a good one. Some scenes acually could easily freak you out, or have your heart race, when the more he found out what was really going on. Excellent for a DVD own. Great for people who just love Sci-Fi movies. General Hospital takes place in Port Charles. The show comtributes a lot of action,drama, and suspense. There is great character development in it. The characters you can really get to know a lot about. The special effects are great. Fantastic stunts are played through out the series. Huge Jackman really brings out the Van Helsing character within him. Fantastic Storyline as well. Some parts were emotional too. Parts of the movie were very surprising as well. Van Helsing does show some humor. This movie is scary, exciting, funny, and enjoyable. I'd want to see it again at the theater and buy it on DVD. Was this review helpful? I found Selene to be a sexy character. Kate works at her best preformance. There are three words that describe Selene, Sexy, Powerful, fantastic. The story plot is great as well.
