He could make any movie seem good, no matter what the plot, I think. Lots of violence, but, then again, the nature of the movie lends itself to it. Lots of plot twists also, but somewhat predictable, in order to have a movie! Believable up to the very end, and then, for all of his wheelin' and dealin'. it leaves you wondering why anyone would be so stupid, especially as a Captain...a Swiss bank account would have been in order here! The acting was pretty good, the plot was truly diabolical and totally believable, but, again, the script just did not give everyone enough meat to chew on! The plot itself was good enough for the writers to really play with everyone's heads, but, alas, they did not, either by being harnessed or by lack of an appropriate budget(?)...
Really, the plot was completely believable in today's corporate gladiator games, and, I would have liked to have seen more explanation about the lead characters' escape from eminant doom....but, I already say too much....
The final faux pax was when, in the end, the lead just walks away from the millions that are there for the taking...considering the circumstances, I would have picked up the loot just to CMA (the personal version of CYA)! Was this review helpful? Sign In 1-2 of 2 Per Page |
