I was surprised to see the callabos with T.I and 36 Mafia. They turned out to be decent. Hes definetly more edgy, but in a sexy way. I love his new sound, its different. For some reason it just works. My favorite tracks on the album were my love, what goes around, summer love, until the end of time, Love stoned, chop me up, damn girl and sexy back. Hes taking his music to a new level. Hes an artist who has taken a risk by stepping outside of the box. Its different, but it still works for him. I think with this album he will gain more new fans. Im not with all this cross-over I want to win an oscar hype from all these artists today. But anyways....I went and saw it, and turns out it wasnt all that bad. And you know I saw 8 mile so I was definetly trying to compare the two movies. You cant have em without 50 or at least thats how it use to be. But I still say 8 mile was a better moive. The free styles were riding in that movie. The best part about this movie is the little things....50 cent rapping when he was a little boy talking about his best friend, the men fighting in the jail shower, when 50 cent and that man fought at the end, and hustlers ambition is a pretty sweet song to me..at least the beat is. Some stuff in the movie threw me off cause it like randonmly happened and sometimes it all seemed out of place. But for the most part, the movie was straight, but it aint got nothing on 8 MILE! They sing a little too much sometimes, but the songs are good. I really like youre the one that I want and Together forever . The characters are fun and interesting. I really liked Rizo and Kiniki. It was really funny I laughed the WHOLE time. Bow Wow did good along with the rest of the cast. It was a fun moive you could just chill out too and relax. Go see it no doubt! Was this review helpful? Yeah it was so cool, it froze, because it $@#%ed just that much! The plot in this movie couldn't have been more STUPID! All these big time actors waisted their time. This movie was not worth it. I hope they were really getting paid. I thought Cedric and his crew were shameful. Gangstas, can NEVER be PROPER!!! NEVER!! And Vince Vaughn, he should NEVER play a black guy. He was all wrong. I mean some of it was funny, but for the most part he just got on my nerve being so dang corny!! I was upset to see that Uma Therma didn't whoop anybodies a**, Kill Bill was a much better movie for her! I didn't think they even needed the Rock and Andree 3000 in the movie. Their parts were basically overlooked anyways. The Rock had to be bold to play a gay character like Elliot. This movie was far from cool. The plot wasn't consistent enough for me. It should've been more focused. It was crazy as hell if anything. They should've called this movie "BE WHAT?" It was alright. I laughed a little , but some of the jokes were dry. I really only watched it because of Brad Pitt. He played his part and I think the whole thing between him and Catherine Zeta-Jones was the most interesting part of the movie. One part I didn't really get was that they turned Julia Roberts into JULIA ROBERTS!! They dressed her up so that she'd be in"disgues". I thought that was stupid, since she was the REAL Julia Roberts anyways. There was another scene where Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Matt Damon were negotiating with this fat guy and then they were talking in code. English words, but they had different meanings. I thought this part was really stupid because no one really got it. But it was alright though. I enjoyed seeing the french guy dance his way through all those flashing lasers, that was pretty cool. I was also disappointed that Bernie Mac didn't have a bigger part. All he did was sit in jail. What was up with that? Was this review helpful? Sign In 4 out of 4 users found this helpful Achilles Takes Over TroyAlthough this movie was long, I happened to enjoy every minute of it! I love Greek Mythology so I had to check this movie out. From the very beginning it caught my attention. I loved seeing all those sweaty men in those little leather outfits that showed off all their best assets. Especially Bad Pitt. I wasn't a Brad Pitt fan before this movie, but now that I've seen it I am. I really liked the character he played. Cockiness really fits him well. The thing about this movie, is that although there were fighting scenes and blood spattering scenerios, it was never "too much" or "overly dramatic". I think it's cool to know that all the actors did their own stunts. This movie definetly is good and it makes you want to pay atenttion to every detail. It's the best movie I have seen in a long time. This is one historical movie you won't want to fall asleep on! Was this review helpful? The Game is real and that's what rap music should be all about. I don't think he was putting up a front, because he is how he say he is in his music. I think he will be around for a while. The airplane scenes were fine, but I was really hoping for more. I was really upset that Jamie Foxx didn't really have as big of a role as I thought he was going to have. After seeing the movie I wonder why he took that sorry role. He could do so much better after doing "Ray". I was upset also that it took the movie about an hour to really get interesting. I perfer movies that get straight to the action and quick. I think in the end Jessica Beil and Josh didn't do too bad. But the movie overall wasn't really that good. I was very disappointed. But I stayed anyways hoping the movie would pick up. Well I was disappointed. The movie not only started slow, but the plot was crazy. It was stupid. I didn't get anything from this movie. I got sick and tired of hearing all the actors with they country accents! I almost fell asleep. I feel like this movie left out a lot of details and background. I really do want to know did that fool know skinny black for real?! Or what kind of spinning did DJay really do back in the day? The music was good. (The beats, not the lyrics persay that really overdid it with degrading women.) The only reason this movie did so well was because of the people who were in it. And if anyone is a fan, then of course they're going to think the movie was good. The traliers to this movie really disappointed me. All that hype over nothing. DJay and his "tricks" were tired. The lines were bland and it felt like Jessica Alba was trying too hard to be black. The movie was too predictable and it just seemed like everyone was acting. I mean when you act, you suppose to make it seem realistic, like you're not acting! It felt like they were all reading lines off the paper! The dancing was okay, but it wasn't as "raw" as I thought it was gone be. Jessica got some rythm, but not enough to make me like this movie. I mean it was alright, but I wouldn't go see it again in the movies. I like the under lying theme of going after your dreams, but other than that, the movie was bland. And all the trailers on TV talking about staring "Missy Elliot" When I saw the actual movie she wasn't in there nothing but like 5 or 10 minutes, if that! The music in the movies was good, but the movie was awful. I was expecting more and all the trailers had me hype and then the actual movie left me disapppinted. Was this review helpful? I had my face covered the whole time watching through my fingers. I went to see this movie late at night and boy it scared the hell out of me!!! I mean everybody in the theater was screaming. It's really freaky at the fact that it's all based on a true story. I think them wihte people was crazy to move into the house in the first place. Stuff kept popping up randomly and freaky things were happening. The voices drove me crazy. And them dead people, especially Jody. When the baby sitter got trapped in the closet with her, man that was some crazy junk! I saw the older version and the 2005 remake is way way way better!!! I mean it scared the bejesus out of me! Unfournately, I only got half of what I expected. I got the action, but the humor in this movie was bland! The jokes they tried to crack left me disapponited. There were a few laughs but nothing big. I thought this movie was very ironic. How can two people live under the same roof for five years and not know each other? And what's more ironic, the agencies they work for are rivalries against one another. But what they lacked in comedy, action made up for it. I enjoyed seeing the car chase, the shooting, and of course Angelina and Brad go toe to toe with one another. The action is something to look forward too. It's what helps you overlook the fact that the humor was really bad. I felt like there could've been more added to this movie. It was alright, but it was lacking something. I was impressed by the high tech guns and weapons, but I was expecting more. The movie was a little dull, but not too dull, having action scenes really helped them. Was this review helpful? I think natrually he's a funny guy and he got a chance to show it with the skits he did. I really liked the one he did when he played Jessica simpson. That was so funny, and the one where he was the egg guy advertising for the resturant. He was so funny and just made the show worth watching and whole lot more funnier. It wasn't like movie award winning material but it was Disney Movie material. It was cool with me. And really what made the movie was Justin Timberlake's cameo appreance. He is so sexy! He was so cute and innocent in this movie. But he seemed shy and I know he so not shy in person. I'd like to see him to a little more acting. Actually I heard he had a movie coming out later this year with samuel Jackson or Morgan Freeman.. one of them, but whatever it is.. he'll be looking good. But yuh the movie was cool.
