It was fantastic. The (free) concert was incredible. Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, The Cheetah Girls, and Jordan Pruitt each performed a few songs. It was awesome! We won the tickets in a ticket lottery. The Games were great, what you could see of them. They had big tents set up along the perimeter of the Disney Wide World of Sports Complex, so you could not see much. We did meet some stars at the hotels and parks, and saw a car parade of stars such as the Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, Cheetah Girls, and Selena Gomes, at Disney Hollywood Studios. There were some problems with crowd control, especially involving the Jonas Brothers. My son almost got crushed in a crowd of very obnoxious teenage girls who didn't seem to care that a little boy was stuck between them. There was one very nice girl who helped me get him out. The Security was useless. All they seemed to be worried about was if someone was taking pictures of the stars, rather than safety. It was ridiculous. But, during the concert, we had seats in the stands, so it was safe. We loved the games and concert so much, that we booked our trip around the dates for this year. However, I heard that they are cancelling the games and concert this year (2009) after they advertised them. I am quite upset as I went through alot to make sure my son and I were at WDW at the time of the event. I would like Disney Channel to know that there are fans that love this event, and a chance for the people on the East Coast to be able to attend a Disney Channel event.
