Bond is back and better than ever. This is by far Brosnan's best outing and for once he has a decent story line. Plenty of action and romance. The transfer is first rate making for one of the better looking DVD's on the market. Sound is excellent especially the DTS EX track. Highly recommended.

I had great hopes for this movie. The assembled talent is top notch, it is great to look at, but the film as a whole fails to come together. Hopkins, who is supposed to be younger than he was in Silence of the Lambs, looks older, which of course is no fault of his own, he is after all older. Lecter is mainly a supporting player in this film, which initially served to introduce the character. The main focus is on Ed Norton's quest to find the Tooth Fairy. Norton is usually excellent but here is miscast as a burnt out FBI agent. Ralph Fiennes is great as the Tooth Fairy, one of the scariest villains as well as the most "; human "; to be seen on the screen in some time. The supporting cast is fine but Ratner's direction does little to create any real tension. We've seen it all before. Most disappointing is the sound. There is very little use of the rear channels, which if used properly could have pulled the viewer in to the story.
