Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful a defining moment in musicPosted: 3/18/2006A review of Dark Side Of The Moon by memories101 its hard to convey the depth of its impact on our generation when it was released in 1973. That year we would go to parties where that was the only album played the entire night. There were no individual songs, just one incredible technical composition, played over and over again. Everytime you listened, you got something different out of it. Technically a musical masterpiece of course but the lyrics - fantastic imagery. Brilliantly written and masterfully delivered.
