It was horrible. Fast flying around, stupid chase scenes I thought would never end. Don't waste your time or money. Felt sorry for the kids in the audience. Was this review helpful? I was totally team Edward and jokingly told my friend that I had switched teams. Jacob was very good, but still no Edward. If you loved Twilight, you'll love New Moon even better. Can't wait for Eclipse in June. Was this review helpful? If you've ever seen and heard Julia Child, Meryl Streep did such a good job. It's fun to watch Julia in Paris and Julie in New York. Lots of laughs. Was this review helpful? Entertaining as hell, but not the spooky movie I heard it was. Good bit of blood, R rating is justified. The ending a good and thoroughly unexpected twist. Was this review helpful? It's exciting when he realizes the significance of what he has found and can see what the future holds. 10 times better than Nic Cage movie "Next". Was this review helpful? I saw the actual story on tv and it was completely different and much scarier. There was no boy with plasma coming out of his mouth, no carving on bodies, no bodies in the wall. Nothing so ridiiculous. Just a very scary story of a family moving into a funeral home and the things that happened to them. Needless to say, I didn't think much of the movie. Amazing, true story. Was over 2 hours but flew by being so good and interesting. Search Wikipedia free encyclopedia and see Wineville Chicken Coop Murders. Tells the story and there are LA Times archive stories with photos. Very sad that a boy is taken and unbelievable that a bratty kid would claim to be the missing boy. That some people are so evil is scary, glad people like Northcott are few and far between. Was this review helpful? I'd say wait for the video if at all. Was this review helpful? Sign In 1 out of 1 users found this helpful If you don't mind the blood, it's fun, makes you jump.
The person I was with said, "no more R rated movies for me, too much blood."
The building were a lot takes place is very creepy. Liked that. One death was over the top as it was physically impossible, almost laughable. I enjoyed it, kept me wide eyed. Definitly not a boring movie. It is something new, can't think of a movie where mirrors were the villian. Well, I do remember 2 Stephen King movies where they looked in the mirrors and saw the backs of their heads. Was this review helpful? That is the question and Miss Pettigrew helps the spacey Miss Grump find the answer. A cute, sillly movie that is most enjoyable. Was this review helpful? So, because of politician Charlie Wilson (who drinks all day and uses drugs) America spent 1 billion to arm Afganistan (which is a little worrisome) to fight the Soviets which led to the end of communism. I'll admit that is an important piece of history. My advice, if you're interested in that, is to rent it later. Was this review helpful? This poor kid had these romantic ideas of solitude in the wilderness. At one point he said that human relationships are over-rated, but his last words are "happiness is not real unless it is shared." Ah, too late. I think everyone can relate to his ideas of not wanting to be trapped by the love of material things, things that society tells us is important. He thinks like the author who says something like a 9 to 5 job is unthinkable torture. Go see it. It's an interesting story. Was this review helpful? The author is an athiest and says about this work, "I'm trying to undermine the basis of Christian beliefs." Our children should not go. Was this review helpful? Sign In |
