Keep in mind that with every greatest hits album of the last ten hears, there have been complaints about track list. Instead of whining, listen "I Run For Life". That will erase all the doubts you have about this collection. Overall, 95% of Melissa's greatest hits are here, so sit back and enjoy the music! It is great! Was this review helpful? Have A Nice Day will have you humming for weeks! Was this review helpful? Sign In 1 out of 3 users found this helpful Posted: 9/16/2005A review of Refugee by emartinez11cj WOW. Melissa really knows how to do it. This is even better than the original Tom Petty version! Was this review helpful? The single "Breathe" is one of the greatest songs of all time. The album is able to stay at that high level with "This Moment", "If You Want To", and "Will You Still Love Me". "Mercy", and "Kiss Me" are songs you don't listen to more than once, but this cd is stilll very good. Melissa Etheridge has created an outstanding album thats up-beat tone is fun and enjoyableto listen to. Was this review helpful? In a world where 95% of music is absolute crap, U2 have shown every other act out there how it is done. Vertigo is a masterpiece. I have never heard anything like it. The first time I saw that IPOD commercial, I just about died, it was shocking to hear such quality music when you are so used to hearing the crappy rap, r&b, and shitty rock (green day, etc.). U2 has shown that they are the biggest and they are the best. How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb mixes loud, fast, fun (Vertigo, All Because of You, etc.) with quiet, slow, peaceful music (Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own, One Step Closer, etc.) that creates the perfect balanced CD. This is not only U2's best album, it is the best album ever created. I can't even put into words what a masterpiece this is. Go buy it now! Was this review helpful? In fact, not including this album the only other song of his that I can stand to sit through is Born in the U.S.A. (and maybe Dancing in the Dark). However, this album just blows me away. "The Rising", "Lonesome Day", "Further On Up the Road", "Waiting On A Sunny Day", "Paradise", "Empty Sky", the list goes on. Bruce Springsteen has created an artistic masterpiece that is one of the best albums of all time. In all of his old music, I find the Boss's voice almost annoying, but I never get tired of hearing this CD. The song "The Rising" is one of the best ever! Go buy this album today, you won't be disappointed. Was this review helpful? Although ATYCLB is not quite as good, it is close. "Beatiful Day" is a classic and is U2's second best song (next to Vertigo). Other great listens include "Elevation", "Walk On", and "Wild Honey". Every song is solid, but the album does slow down a lot with "When I Look At The World", "Peace On Earth", and "Grace". They are good, but just a little too slow. ATYCLB gets four stars, but it is a very strong four stars. Was this review helpful? The Best Tracks are the addicting Talk, White Shaddows and Speed of Sound. The album does have some holes, however, as it's difficult to sit through What If and Twisted Logic. Despite the fact that most of the songs have a similar sound, X & Y is a must for any CD collection. Was this review helpful? Perfect Love...Gone Wrong, and Tomorrow We'll See have got to be two of the worst songs I have ever heard. Despite those, the album rebounds with two amazing trakcs, Brand New Day and After The Rain Has Fallen. The CD also includes some solid listens: A Thousand Years, Desert Rose and Ghost Story. Overall, Sting delivers a great album with some experimental blunders, but also some of his best music. Was this review helpful? It features great songs such as Lover Please, The Different, Walking On Water, and I Want To Be In Love. Although there are some boring tracks, Melissa has really outdone herself this time. The only criticism I have is Lover Please. If it was tweaked just a little bit and given a better ending, that song could have been a huge hit. Oh well.....the album is still great!
