Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful  ...okPosted: 8/25/2008A review of The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor by flickchick0001 The third installment of the mummy was ok..it didn't have a sense of awe like the others..the first two still had audiences intrigued even though it was the same mummy...i don't know if it was the whole new mummy (though i am not saying Jet Li was bad)..or the new Eve (Rachel weisz was definitely better)...or the lack of wit in the jokes..it wasn't the same...i just found myself sitting back and taking it all in and not being moved like the others..mind you the graphics were great and the yeti were awesome..awesome graphics. When I saw the first one i was bored to death...for me i am not one who likes contemporary and even so it was ...blah and bland..SYTYCD does better contemporary..but hey thats just me i like music with more beats and step up 2 sure did it for me...the story line was a bit predictable but the main reason i watched it was for the dancing and it was off da chain...and lastly i respect movies that are now showcasing real dance of this era that is so rapidly spreading and infecting our minds (in a good way)..anyways it was tight *** Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful awesome!Posted: 7/25/2008A review of Hellboy II: The Golden Army by flickchick0001 Hellboy took a turn for the better unlike some disappointing sequels...there were a lot of the SUPERNATURAL...a lot of ACTION (especially with Prince Nuada's moves...fast, sharp and wicked)...humour as usual..and a bit more in depth with the character's relation without taking away from the excitement of the movie ... oh n it was cool to see abe showing interest in someone. Sign In 1 out of 1 users found this helpful brilliantPosted: 3/13/2008A review of Becoming Jane by flickchick0001 normally i do not watch the tearjerker type films but this one is an exception because after all Jane Austen was a brilliant author and i was intrigued to see a film about her love story which inspired many of her novels...the movie was great and James McAvoy was quite the charmer and gentleman...great preformance from him and Anne Hathaway of course..to sum it up it was brilliantly moving and an inspirational love story Was this review helpful?
