Being a huge X Files fan, I found this film terribly disapointing. No governmental conspiracies, no paranormal activities (except for a pyschic child molestor). Not only is there no sexual tention between Scully and Mulder, they are now a bickering divorced couple and we didn't even get to see the romance! If that weren't bad enough, the agent portrayed by Amanda Peet was so irritating, we were glad when she was thrown to her death. I would have been satisfied with the equivalent of another TV episode-this didn't even come close to the quality of the worst episode of the X Files in terms of writing or acting. It is a terrible blot on the X Files. If you love the X Files, don't see this movie. Was this review helpful? Sign In 1-1 of 1 Per Page |
